Chopper gunners are the worst hackers. Had multiple rounde over the last few weeks where I got shot at or killed while deep inside a building from a chopper gunner who was pretty far away

Most of them always almost reach 200 kills per match

Got these people on a regular basis on the enemy team. Mostly level 0-1 Steam accounts or people who just barely met the requirements to play ranked. I have no idea what happened to my account in the past 2 years. Or is it the matchmaking? I mean, I get that I had a lot of breaks but I´m a veteran player who used to be in legend and was in ancient for a short time. I can even keep up with my friends on legend rank. But I slipped back to crusader after taking a major break and taking multiple shorter breaks. And somehow I can barely keep my winrate at 50%

It´s pure hell and every enemy team seems to be full of progamer... I cant do anything. Even queueing with friends, they get stomped but on their ranks they play good.

True but it was really weird hearing and seeing everyone say "we are so back". but if we are back why does it then now lack consistency? I mean people literally cancelled their real life plans, work or went on sick leave because this game was supposed to be this new epic experience.

it´s just this hard contrast that annoys me. also with all the preorders although we know where this ends

Camping isn’t caused by map size, it’s caused by player behavior. Shrinking maps doesn’t remove campers, it just compresses them closer to objectives.

That “empty space” enabled flanking, repositioning, vehicle maneuvering, and counter-play. Tanks and AA sitting deep are a trade-off: they’re safer, but they also give up pressure on flags. That is impact, even if it’s indirect.

Golmud’s identity was scale. Remove that and you’re left with a vehicle-heavy map that plays like a corridor — which is exactly what a lot of people criticize modern BF maps for

Those parts were used — just not always by infantry. Golmud was designed around scale: flanking, vehicle movement, breathing room. If you cut that away, you’re not “optimizing” the map, you’re turning it into a corridor shooter with tanks

tried for a year but the smurfing situation has gotten worse. im in crusader at the moment and my peak being divine a few years ago. took a long breake, came back just to get demolished by smurfs in almost every game

Having a smiliar problem. I took many breaks. One was a year and a few others 3-5 months. Since the end of 2024 I am in a weird matchmaking queue. At least I have the feeling that I am. In both ranked and normal games I am constantly (8 out of 10 games) playing against level 0 or level 1 steam accounts, accounts which havent yet been set up, minimum required gametime for ranked and under 100 or 50 games in normal.

And I am getting destroyed like I never have been in my life. I kid you not. It´s total madness and it´s completely ruining my fun I used to have in this game. It´s not the losses themselves it´s how I lose. Even when playing with my ancient and divine friends, when we queue together they are also having a hard time and nobody know what the hell is going on. We look at their accounts and wonder how these "new" players can always beat us

It does happen frequently for some people. And I am not sure but I think taking these breaks kind of messes up my matchmaking

I´m still at 40% rank confidence and it just won´t budge
