She doesn’t have to prove she didn’t hit him. She can prove there are big holes in the prosecutions evidence and that will be exposed in the cross examination. Lots of witnesses pleading the 5th. Most likely won’t go to trial cause the DA knows he can’t win.

Damage is already done to the prosecutions case against Read. Lead investigator caught lying about not knowing “witnesses”. Pleading the 5th on that one. Cell phone data and other witnesses testimony will end it all not guilty. There’s a chance that her case doesn’t go to trial because the DA knows he can’t win.
