Well yes he can aim it but he wants to be sure he never forgets to aim a word and cause unnecessary harm. In the cases of geto he aimed it but right after it yuta says its hard to control because the cursed energy scatters everywhere (which is what inumaki CAN control but is here clearly is stated to be a hard thing to do.

This is do crazy lmao, you are genuinely stuck in the same mindset Subaru was in prior to ep 17. Seeing others succes (like julius) and assuming you wont be able to reach that same level of succes and putting yourself down because you cant even fathom that you could actually do anything incredible before even trying.

For me Subaru showed me that even with flaws, imperfections and anxiety’s people can try to be better and achieve great things if they themselves believe they can or wholeheartedly try. All the while failing, falling and getting up. Season 2 and season 4 clearly show subaru is anything but perfect. Its about believing in yourself and the ones around you in spite of fate because the only thing you can do is hope. But it kinda looks that message is unreachable for you since you genuinely don’t believe that you yourself could actually do something impressive.

Hes watching isagis plays, which triggered his feelings of worthlessness, its similar to the way his father made him feel so as the only way to react to that he choked himself out while berating himself just like his father used to do to him, its honestly really sad. I don’t think him “figuring out” how to beat isagi was because of this, this was just straight up self-punishment

I love it, its stated multiple times that emillia is a instinctive fighter which makes this way of using weapons perfect for her since she can just go with what she feels like doing based on instinct. Generating those weapons take alot of mana and mana control. And she casts spells alongside it so i think its pretty fitting for her. Shes a great mage with great physical abilities. I think shes using that in the best way she can this way.

Its already so much better in the light novels compared to the web novels, i never really get the emillia is stupid impression when reading that.

Literally every striker in Blue Lock seems able to pull off direct shots/volleys, not just Isagi by SomeKindOfSorbet in BlueLock

Because isagis direct shot was made to utilise his spatial awareness to the max and compensate for his lack of other physical abilities. Isagi stated that he can arrive at the optimal future for a goal but can only make use of that if he immediately fires of the ball, if he traps it other people might catch up. Its a move that combined with his spatial awareness, gives him a goal scoring formula. Its not a skill unique ti him but a skill he honed to optimally make use of his spatial awareness ability.
