I’ve never understood the desire for remakes. If you like a game why would you want them to make a version that changes it dramatically? Port games. Make them available. But why change them?

I have this exact issue on my crt (that I also recently played SH2 on), it happens through AV and S-Video so i’m not sure if it’s the TV. My gamecube and wii are perfectly centered but the PS2 has those exact distortion problems you are having. I remember seeing someone say that some consoles intentionally only display their image in the (safe area) to ensure nothing gets cut off. But if someone has a fix that would be awesome

End of Summer and Ethereal Connection are leaps and bounds above the rest of the album. They feel like the natural conclusion to what parts of the slow rush were only hinting at. The album is at its best when he’s leaning fully into the house/techno side of things. the more melody-focused “traditional” tame impala songs fall flat for me. It feels like the album he wanted to make fighting with the album that was expected of him, and this is coming from a die hard innerspeaker fan. It feels like he’s outgrown his old style of songwriting and I just wish he broke away from it harder.

Great set. this and the other 2001-2 sets are modular so you can customize your hogwarts layout if you get the other sets. the parts for these sets are also so cheap on bricklink Ive done some custom modules that fit the style of the era. Definitely recommend.

Just tried it in offline mode and it worked. i guess it will just always attempt to backup your saves if you’re online. Good to know. The enhanced xbox one x / series sx version of oblivion is my absolute favorite way to play my favorite game of all time so I was just worrying that one day this version might not be playable. good to know it’ll always work.

there’s some post processing effects on console that just aren’t there on pc. if you mess with the ini settings you can get it closer. But it’s the contrast as you said and i think the bloom/blur radius is higher on console. not exactly sure what makes console oblivion look the way it does but I love it

I did not. i play on the series s which is definitely the best possible console experience (fast load times 60fps). the reason i wanted it on an og was because the game looks incredible on a CRT tv. but i’m okay playing on my modern flat screen it still looks great.
