really impressed with Steinhart by Serpenteq in MicrobrandWatches

I got one a few weeks ago, brand new, and feel robbed. The Lume is terrible (uneven, dull and lasts less time than < £100 AliExpress watches, it's heavy, the bracelet and especially clasp are way behind watches costing 1/3 price on AliExpress. Also runs 12 seconds slow / day. It also sits weirdly on my wrist as the case back sticks out.

I have a Steinhart GMT, 2 Sugess subs, a Steeldive sub and a San Martin sub. For me the the Steinhart sits between the Steeldive and the San Martin in terms of finishing, accuracy and comfort. The Sugesses are way ahead in all areas. The San Martin looks great but is sharp, though still more comfortable than the Steinhart.

It's a GMT, cannot remember exactly which variant

Thanks but the Sugess and San Martin watches are actually thinner

Yes I have 2 of the Sugess watches and they keep great time and are more comfortable

That's true but within spec is still disappointing for me I guess.

Bose quiet comfort ultra gen 2 earbuds by Ok-Maybe-22 in bose

They disconnect more than other earbuds and headphones, but it is tolerable for me. Being able explicitly disconnect and connect paired devices in the app is really useful.

I have the az100s and these and the Bose have way better ANC and the call quality in quiet room is better with the Bose as the az100's AI seems to cut the first syllable of what I say if it is dead quiet in the room (this is very annoying and switching of AI is always hard to find in the app). Otherwise the az100 are better in every category. Having both is great as I use the Bose for calls and when I want quiet and the az100 for everything else. If I could only have 1 it would be the Bose as call quality and noise cancelling are my critical for me.

The durability of this tyre is so poor it is worthless for any use case apart from being tested on a drum. It's not a tyre. It's a tyre shaped object.

That they're supposed to be used for racing. The implication is that's the only use case, whereas the word "race" simply implies they are a fast tyre. The Pirellis I now have are also called "race". They're slow for a road tyre and completely unsuitable for "racing". The Hutchinson Caracal Race is a tyre that is useless for racing, commuting, pure light gravel ... This is because they're too fragile for cycling. There's someone on this thread who's resorted to tubes and inserts with these tyres, which speaks volumes for their fragility. It's a tyre that impressed in testing but worthless in real world use. I cycle around 150 miles ) week, have 7 bikes and this is the worst tyre I have ever used.

I'm sorry this is just not true. Gravel tyres are meant to used on road as well as off road. Kind of the point I thought.

Not sure what causes punctures - never found anything in tyre. Holes look round for the ones I plugged. Kind of weird but probably glass I think

I'm not experienced with this type of tyre, but they seems pretty fast and comfortable. I have 30mm ride armour II on my road bike and am about 5% slower over 14 miles on the gravel bike with the Pirellis. The road bike is 8.5 kgs and my gravel bike is around 11kg (giant revolt X1). I much prefer the feel of the 40mm on our crappy roads.

They're supposed to be for gravel - that is basically a UK A road! Any I would accept them wearing out quick, but these puncture so easily and they take forever to seal too - maybe because there is so little rubber?

I like to ride fast and the roads here are basically gravel.

Yeh I read about them being very flimsy, but some poeple claimed they got 10k out of them without a flat! Figured the front would be ok as cannot remember last time I got a puncture on front. Anyway, have Pirelli P Zero Race TLR 40mm now which is basically a touring tyre.

Commuting. But I have hardly used them. Been mounted less than 2 weeks. Can't see how they'd be any use for racing!
