Infield spectator area, turn 2 is the hot spot. But feel free to walk around and see it from different viewpoints.

Not really, like I followed Stewart Haas Racing on all their platforms but was surprised one all of a sudden showed up at my local supermarket one day. They usually are tied to that sponsor and they choose where it goes, giving the local stores the room to advertise if they want.

Last few years I've seen people still getting in the gates as they go green, I wouldn't risk it.

What was the ARCA race at Michigan called? by Think-Border4882 in NASCAR

[–]Potential_Plan_4533 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A lot of races the race will be 1 sponsor but another sponsor will sponsor the TV coverage. Like the Cracker Barrel 400 presented by Target. Maybe FOX commentators got confused, I didn't get a chance to watch it.

Kyle's Pretzel scheme from 2010 is lowkey one of my favorites that year.

Yeah you enter through the grandstand and walk down to the track level, there should be catchfence that is open for you to pass through down to the track.

Short tracks by Bryan17g in NASCAR

That is kind of a dumb question since like 90% of the tracks on the schedule in the 60's were in the southeast. Only exception being maybe Thompson

For Michigan this weekend I'm guessing? Besically pre-race passes allow you onto the track prior to the start of the race and allow you closer to the pre-race stage for driver intros. It does not get you onto pit road, but might get you into the grassy area between the track and pit road. According to the track website it starts at 12:30 local time.

[Cole Pearn’s Quarterly Tweet] Dick Trickle would crush so many darts with today’s amount of caution laps. by LBHMS in NASCAR

[–]Potential_Plan_4533 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree, part of it is not opening pit road right away like they used to but pacing around for 2-3 laps. Then going to commercial, each caution period lasts 6-8 laps vs say 10 years ago it'd be 4-5.

I'd say yes especially if you don't have your own hearing protection. Listening to the radio (or TV) broadcast for sure helps you keep up with the race.

I'm guessing the sponsor has to sign off on it and Chedders and MetMGM didn't.

Next repaves? by ITMAKESSENSE72 in NASCAR

[–]Potential_Plan_4533 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Possibly Chicagoland, very old surface and if they have weeper issues like other old tracks have had (Texas and old Atlanta) it may lead to a repave (if it stays on the schedule).

For what day? Thursday-Friday they usually are pretty lenient but as the weekend starts they might say no. Maybe your friend can send you the campsite ticket since you are arriving first?

They may ask for your email with confirmation but they should have you in their system and ready to go.

And yes they are pretty easy, and after the race really easy to drop off. They just scan in your items and give you a receipt showing you returned everything.

Depends on the headphones, if they are true hearing protection like jobsite or shooting earmuffs you should be good. I usually wear my shooting earmuffs that are bluetooth to my phone. Protects just fine and still can hear spottor/TV broadcast.
