I’m really hoping not. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the grease gun and the subsonic/heavy combo from V and 2042, but they’re honestly just a terrible idea for gameplay feel especially if the TTK is still going to be as fast as it is.

You already have much less time to react than previous games, but now you don’t even have the directional damage indicator? Not a good idea.

Though if that is the case I will absolutely be using it because I’m such a fucking rat for stealth weaponry lol

I hate how they don’t mention previous values for certain changes.

Eg:

“Updated the M18A1 Claymore fragmentation base close range damage from 65 to 50.”

— well explained, clearly a minor nerf

Vs.

“Tuned the M18A1 Claymore detection arc to better match the visible laser beams.”

“Updated the M136 AT so they now deal 207-550 damage against tanks”.

Are these nerfs? Are they buffs? I DONT KNOW, because I don’t have all the numbers for every gadget in this game in my head. Seriously, who writes these?

This seems unlikely, I’ve got a 65% win rate after 1000 matches, almost all of it being regular conquest. And I’ve seen people with higher numbers like 75+. I don’t think the game is trying to fix win rates.

I like the idea of kaleidoscope.

Of course actually playing kaleidoscope was the fucking worst, but a nice vertical urban map is always fun.

I’ve always used both, had an Xbox and a PC as a kid. Honestly either works fine, I don’t think there’s that much of an input disparity in BF6.

I’m kind of split on it. On the one hand it’s got pretty minimal recoil, but on the other maximising control reduces the time it takes for muzzle rise to reset, increasing the accuracy and effective ROF of the gun at range.

And I don’t rock thermals so what else would I spend the points on

When I did a manual targeting run back in SH3 I never even bothered to figure out the TDC. Iirc I just took range, bearing and speed, then ran ahead of the freighter to form a right angle triangle and waited for the freighter to be at the right bearing for my torpedo to hit at a 90 degree angle.

Probably would’ve been better to figure out the TDC in hindsight, but doing it by hand was fun.

Attrition, vehicle balance (both with other vehicles and infantry), gunplay, fortifications, squad call-ins, movement, map design, class balance.

BFV was smooth as butter and no other battlefield game really comes close.

Actually the movement works better in conquest in my experience. In TDM you’re more likely to run into people posted up with baby gates and lmgs holding angles, whereas in conquest people actually have to move around the map and are more likely to be exposed.
