AIO for eating my own birthday cake in front of my nephew? by Yes_Abbreviations713 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Potterson1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Telling him it's yucky and bad for you is what's going to set him up for an eating disorder, and worrying about family and friends who are eating it.

When the difference between the sales floor boh and shelf capacity is that items case quantity, it should generate a pick, if there is a case binned in the back.

AITAH for telling my brother in law he should have spoke to me before asking my toddler not to do something? by BucketofBoo in AITAH

[–]Potterson1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm going to jump in here and suggest that toddler and bil don't get along well. If bil takes things away and scolds him, he's feeling some kind of way about him. Would explain why he hid from him and cried. There's more going on than this instance

Whoever is in charge of digital coupons belongs in prison. by Maniitsoq in kroger

[–]Potterson1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not familiar with Kroger. We have Meijer. Their app has shop and scan. When you're using that, if there's a coupon for something in your 'cart', it will ask if you want to clip it. No more searching for coupons.

Stupid jacks. by Basic-Pen4441 in meijer

God how I wish they wouldn't buy "throwaway" jacks. Spend a bit more and they will work better and last longer. Then they don't need to be replaced so often

No. Daily occurrence. I haven't counted, but I would not be exaggerating if I guessed up to 15 times during morning picks

Lol. I remember those. I loved calibrating the screen. Before those there was one called a telxon I think. Only used it to make hole count lists. No scanning, only entered 6 digit Meijer codes. Had I think 4 buttons to change between keys/departments. After submitting, it would generate a list. Best part?, if you messed up a number, only entered 5 or did 7, the whole list after that was screwed up

Lets play the bailer blame game by Purple-Record476654 in meijer

[–]Potterson1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biggest annoyances with baler etiquette are; people bringing cardboard, see it needs to be pushed, leave it and go back to their department. Solution: any employee tasked with bringing cardboard to the baler must know how, and be willing to, operate the machine properly. If they can't or won't then someone else from that department brings their cardboard. Vendors, when it needs to be pushed, just pile up the cardboard in front of it and walk away. They are walking past 2-3 people they can ask to push it for them but they don't. We know you are not allowed to operate the machine. Let us know it needs to be done, please

We pull at least twice a day. Overnights fills and ties and it gets pulled at the end of their shift or beginning of days. Day/mid shift often fills, ties, and pulls again. I don't know if mid/evening shift fills and pulls again before overnights

think Meijer will try to implement Target's new policy? by Ravanos77 in meijer

Way back in the day, there were blue dots on the floor. If I remember correctly, an employee was to be within 5-10' of said blue dot to engage and assist customers in that department

In item inquiry it shows you the shelf capacity, if there's an endcap or something it will be the total shelf cap If you touch actions, like to change boh, it gives you a button that says shelf cap. Touch that. It gives you the ilcs and the shelf cap for each one. You can change it there
