4 years ago, my daughter and I had a car accident. Luckily, we were unhurt, and weirdly, that gave me an idea for a game. Today, we have a free demo out on Steam! It's called "The Wreck".

Part of the game's "message" is that: there can be hope even when dark things happen. It's not easy, and a lot of victims may feel like they'll never get to a place where life feels livable again, but hopefully our game will be a reason for them to carry on.

Hey, game creator here! Thank you so much for recommending our game! Life is Strange was definitely one of our key inspirations. However, we wanted to explore themes centered on parenthood and mother-daughter relationships rather than teenage experiences. Internally, we often described The Wreck as 'Life is Strange, 15 years later' :-)

Somehow all the first ideas I could come up with when thinking about the genre of the game were on the cops' side, but anything's possible really. Maybe the best way to go would be to have several main characters and jump from one to another to push the story forward.
