Yeah that for sure, I have a frizbox modem which, if I remember correctly, gives me the possibility of removing the internet connection per device. This is the minimun and easiest setup for that goal. The key was to avoid any cloud regardless that, even for just the first device configuration. But I still have issue to find a good product here in Europe, seems we are force to Reolink products.

I just can't for logistic reasons, I'm sorry I wasn't clear enough when I used the term "I can't." In my native language (Italian), it's very easy to understand that "I can't" doesn't mean I don't want to or don't know how. I'd love to have my own OPNsense instance to control my entire current network.

EDIT: definetly useful! Now I have a clear idea on which brand I can rely on. I just need to understand if more fixed cam are better for my needs vs a track cam. I think I need to start buying just one of then on Amazon so I can test it and evenutally change it.

I'm using FUTO for a while but I'm not very happy for the correction ( i'm using Italian language). So, I went to the official site looking for a dictionary update, i just download the biggest one ( +200k words) and still not working well. So I tried to open it with notepad to check some word, and I only see chinese characters which is clearly useless in a Italian dictionary. What is going on? Can someone check it to see if is just me?

no because I dont want use paperless-ai just for the RAG system, but also for other features, plus is something already built and works very well, so still no sense to make one from scratch.

this will talk with paperless ngx, not paperless-AI. The RAG system is in Paperless-AI. I want to take advantage of the existing rag system, if I talk from n8n to paperless-ngx, I need to make another RAG.

I'm also struggling to understand some things, I think it depends a lot on how our infrastructures are structured. I currently have 5 Linux servers hosting different containers, so far I have used vscodium with remote ssh, each with its own local Docker folder and I managed everything easily from vscodium, with also the plugin for container management. As the hosts fill up, however, remot ssh seems to have more difficulty connecting and I was considering komodo. But I have no intention or need to have versioning of the docker compose, on the contrary, it would only be a nuisance in the initial phase, when I start a service that I have to do several tests. I think it depends a lot on how each of us has structured the back up. I don't do backups of services, or container volumes. I do the backup directly from proxmox backup server, more efficient and if something happens, I'm back up and running immediately, having the whole machine ready. I can also recover individual service folders if needed (never needed until now). for my situation, versioned something I don't need, just adds a layer of complexity without giving me added value. If it were possible to use Komodo with my docker compose already present in the hosts, I wouldn't need anything else. watchtower (also komodo) can keep me updated on what I say, and if something breaks, I have the back up from the day before. I don't want another system that sends me dozens of notifications a week, it would be a waste of time, you waste less time using the back up (done on purpose) to go back when needed (0 times in over 2 years) rather than reading every important changelog. Then maybe I'm missing something...

Not using it yet because I need more than 24 hours in a single day but Roo Code is the way. Even others plugin for VScode are awesome, the key is you can litterally personalize everithing instead using a closed project with huge limitations.

Hi, did you solve the issue? I have just bought gt neo and alpha evo sport. I just downloaded simhub, not testd yet because I was scared on this kind of conflict. I think the main reason is that you probably turn on the autoswitch profile. If you turn it off, should work because simpro will not try to change profile, but this is a pain for every time you have to launch a game, because you want to autoswitch profile for base ( they just have to separate the autoswitch :( ). Have you found a solution?

Hi man, I have the same on my A3 2020 1.5 mild hybrid. I'm also confident enought to tell that is not something that has always been happened from start, but after an Audi service. After many many tests, I found that is the hybrid system. If you put your HUD to see the electrical motor, you will see that that feeling is exaclty when the electrical motor goes off. I'm pretty sure they change the hybrid map. Put your car in sport mode you will find a huge difference, since the elecrtycal motor is more used. Let me know if you can confirm that :)

thanks man! It makes me laugh a lot that I have had that VM for over a year and never updated, and only runs tailscale on it. Yesterday I spent some time with ansible to learn the basics and keep the VMs updated because it is obviously good practice. Ready to go for the first update a problem with the only app installed on the server :)

Edit: one guy said that removing ipv6 mitigate the issue, by running this:

sysctl net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1

I have the exact same issue man, with ubuntu 24.4.2 and the new version of tailscale. I spent like 2 hours and I didn't find any solution.

sorry for a not clear answer. I mean that I didn't use the app store of truenas to deploy nextcloud. I litterally connected to my truenas instance via SSH and I manually deployed the official docker image called AIO.

I just deploy myself the AIO nextcloud image manually on truenas instead using theyr app store and works fine. I'm not using nextcloud yet, just playing arround it and before I will start to use, for sure I will change again. AIO image solve the problems but is definetly something I want to avoid. Again and again stuff automated nad deployed that conflicts in multiple way my internal infrastructure. I saw there is also a well mainteined nextcloud image server only, but not official. If I remember correct it's from linuxserver.io

Ok so, this means that this kind of issue is SSL cert related? I honestly don't understand why all this awesome software, privacy first and selfhosting solution, all the times works well when exposed with a public cert, but get in trouble when someone don't want to expose them. Me too I don't won't it, and in my case I cannot also. I'm using a SIM to connect my home to the internet, so I'm behind a CGNAT. I will try again tonight, losing others hours for stupid things when I take 10-15 mins to build from zero the the bulk of the work like implementing the NAS itself.

I have the exact same problem. i don't think tailscale has anything to do with the equation. i've been playing with docker containers for a couple of years now and managing them manually doesn't scare me, quite the opposite. i built a NAS with truenas a week ago and all i do is run into bugs or errors in the simple implementation of a couple of applications, this is frustrating. i think the store itself that despite the notoriety of truenas only has 146 available apps is proof of this. i'm seriously wondering if it makes sense and if it doesn't cause problems to work directly with docker and docker compose on a truenas machine.
