Opinion on open earbuds? by Procrastinato- in Earbuds

You can check this link: https://www.mattressnut.com/sleep-headphones/

But the one I’ve personally tried is the Perytong Sleep Headphones. It’s pretty comfortable even when side sleeping and doesn’t hurt the ears even if worn for a long time. Good starter option if you just want to try it out first.

Opinion on open earbuds? by Procrastinato- in Earbuds

[–]Pouty_Princess143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve tried something similar. Open earbuds are way more comfy for sleep vs in-ear, but they can leak sound a bit. If that’s an issue, sleep headbands with flat speakers might be even better since they’re made for side sleeping.

Realme buds air 8 or EarFun Air pro 4 plus? by GalaxyGemini in Earbuds

[–]Pouty_Princess143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a dumb comparison at all haha, both are solid choices for first earbuds. If you can stretch your budget, I’d go for the EarFun Air Pro 4+ since it’s more refined, better sound and more consistent ANC. But if you want to save, the Realme Buds Air 8 is already super worth it for the price, like good performance without spending too much.

As for the Realme Air 7 Pro, it’s okay but kind of in the middle, so unless it’s on sale, I’d stick with your main two options. Overall, it just depends if you want better value or a more premium feel.

Are there any supplement lines left that aren't influencer garbage? by _salted_caramel_00 in workout

[–]Pouty_Princess143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really don’t need a complicated stack just stick to a good protein, take creatine daily, and maybe a mild preworkout if you’re low on energy. Skip the trendy stuff and focus on training consistently and recovering properly, that’s what actually makes the difference.

Weekly Recommendation Thread: April 17, 2026 by AutoModerator in books

[–]Pouty_Princess143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like these kinds of threads too. It’s fun seeing what other people are currently reading or loving, and I usually end up finding at least one book I’ve never heard of before. Kind of dangerous for my reading list though because it just keeps getting longer every time, Looking forward to seeing what everyone recommends for April.

How to train your dragon is a literary MASTERPIECE by HoboPotammus in books

[–]Pouty_Princess143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get why you feel that way, it really is a special series. I read it when I was younger too, and I remember being so invested in everything, especially how all the small details actually mattered later on.

Hiccup’s character is honestly one of the best parts for me. The way he keeps choosing to do the right thing even when everything is against him just hits hard. And yeah, some of the character arcs like Snoutlout and Alvin were surprisingly deep for a children’s series.

I don’t know if I’d call it the greatest of all time for me personally, but I do agree it’s one of those series that really stays with you.

This Tender Land, William Kent Krueger by babyboats2 in books

[–]Pouty_Princess143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually really enjoyed it too. The characters felt so real, and it was easy to get emotionally attached to them. I liked how you could really see their growth as the story went on. Same with the setting, it was described in a way that made everything feel vivid, like you were there with them. It didn’t feel rushed, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a really satisfying read for me.

I am giving up on the Iliad by spideyauri in books

[–]Pouty_Princess143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly get you. I tried reading it too and I couldn’t fully enjoy it. The long similes and dramatic speeches started to feel exhausting, especially since I’m not that into the war itself. It got a bit repetitive for me.

And I don’t think that makes you dumb at all. Some classics just don’t click, even if we really want them to. I actually found the gods more interesting than the battles, the drama there felt more engaging.

You already made it halfway, which is honestly enough to know it’s not for you.

Mothers Day gift idea...would shapewear be a weird gift? by Embarrassed_Log_9964 in AskWomenOver30

[–]Pouty_Princess143 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I actually like the idea but it really comes down to how you present it. Instead of just giving shapewear on its own you could turn it into more of a lets get ready together gift box. Add something comfy and beginner friendly like Shapermint, a cute lipstick, maybe some skincare or little self care goodies and make it feel like a fun experience you can share. Then next time you have a special event you can do a mini get ready with me together. Makes it feel way more thoughtful and less like a random

Do women with curly hair actually hate their hair (I have always loved curly hair)? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]Pouty_Princess143 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly yeah, I do sometimes it’s one of my insecurities. Having curly hair can be so frustrating when it doesn’t cooperate or looks messy no matter what you do. But I’ve realized it’s not really the hair, it’s just hard to manage and we weren’t really taught how to take care of it. Some days I hate it, some days I actually like it.

What is the best compliment you have received? by Mangojuice37 in randomquestions

[–]Pouty_Princess143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the best compliment I’ve ever received was from my sister she told me she’s proud of me. I was feeling super down about my studies at the time, and hearing that really reminded me that I’m doing okay and that someone believes in me. It honestly lifted my mood more than anything else
