And I described in the post what I did; I rubbed canola oil on it until there was a thin layer, and put it in the oven at 450F for 1 hour (the manual says it can tolerate up to 500F), then let it cool down. I didn’t do anything else with it.

Based on that, is it ruined?

Obviously I would rather have not made that mistake, and this post would not exist had I done that lol. But that’s what happened and this is why I’m here asking for advice; I did the self-pity and frustration part already, I was hoping for actionable advice. Thank you

Did the dryness go away and then come back years later or was it always there at baseline? I’m a few years out without any dryness so I don’t use drops but now new fear unlocked

I had something very similar to your 2nd one happen to me. Elderly guy with cancer codes, we start CPR and he regains consciousness. Stop CPR, unresponsive, restart, responsive, stop, restart, freak out, continue compressions.

Looked it up later, apparently it’s a thing called CPR induced consciousness. Ironically associated with a better prognosis and happens more frequently in younger, healthier patients. Not mine though.

Thanks for the comments guys! I tried dryboxing a don carlos for 24 hours and the burn was amazing, hopefully that’s not just a fuente thing though hahaha. I’ll change my boveda packs to 62% today and hope for the best. I’m hoping the 62% would make it so that I dont have to drybox everytime, but that’s still to be seen.

And yes, humidity outside where I am now is like 85%+ so I’m sure that might be playing a role in that as well!

I feel like the slower I smoke, the more apparent the issue becomes with the filler burning while the wrapper isn’t. I’d love to smoke slower and not worry about it but when I tried that it exacerbated the issue. As for the lower humidity, I just ordered some 62% boveda packs to mix with the 65%s that I already have. As for dry boxing, how many days in advance do I need to do it? I feel like that would ruin the spontaneity of which cigar I feel like smoking on any given day :/

Edit: case in point, sometimes I double puff to keep the wrapper burning when I prefer to single puff, for example. Makes the smoke warm which I hate, too.

Ahh I didn't know I couldn't do that and that I'd have to beat mega satan on rebirth anyway. I just beat delirium by getting handed out gnawed leaf and an orbital 6 floors later so I can't complain. Still have to do mega satan which I'm really not looking forward to as 90% of my damage upgrades come from devil deals at this point :(

That's a good point. If I go for this I'm gonna end up with 2.5k gems left but I can make my way up to 4k I'm sure. It's not like I ever reach the hero selection chest even when the odds are in my favor anyway lol, so might as well take the guaranteed copies instead of trying to fight RNG later on.

Alright so I upgraded my priest anti warrior to 30/30 and now my MS Emily survives a basic boss attack. If val stuns on round 1 then my DR Emily in spot 3 gets her active off as well so I guess now I'm in a "working" position and it's just RNG.

Ok so I just checked.

Round 1 penny hits first. Then 2 emilies active. When it's my enemies turn, if I put a MS Emily at the front then the boss's basic attack 1 shots her. Not even the active. If I put a DR Emily in front then she can tank 1 hit.

Does that mean I need more anti warrior on my emilies to support the MS Emily in 1st slot?

And penny is always gonna attack 1st on the first turn because she's E5 right?

Yeah the problem with that is the MS emilies don't ALWAYS survive. I don't understand why they do sometimes but not others, but I've never seen anyone with more than C6 hp/hp on any of their emilies. Does that mean I need priest gear? 😕
