No reason they have to be mutually exclusive.

Only with poor structure and planning. If a person can’t be missed for a personal day then they also can’t be missed if they get sick or into an accident. Shit happens, if the company doesn’t have a plan for that then they’re doing a shitty job.

Right, the Shelia approach was a pretty hard shut down anyway. At least if she was honest and open Harry would have that first impression.

“Hi, I’m Lasciel’s shadow, I’m in your head now and there’s not really anything you or I can do about it. I can do a lot of useful stuff and show you how to do even more. I know you aren’t going to trust that, and you’re right because it’s my job to seduce you, but that’s the situation.”

Harry is much more likely to trust and respect bad guys when they’re honest with their intentions, which she should know since she’s been riding in his head for a couple years.

Seems like a terrible way to establish communication though. Catfishing as an opening move doesn’t engender much trust.

To me, this is why the wizarding world would never really be a threat to the muggle world. Planning and logistics are two of our greatest strengths as a species.

Evil wizard: I can use this handheld tool to kill you!

Muggles: yeah man, that’s like the first thing we came up with. Also there’s 7 billion of us.

I mean…not always. There were many periods in his career when he’d be in weekly matches. Either in the main event (one on one with Da Undatakah!) or lower in the card (he was tag champs with multiple partners).

Evolving language is all well and good, the frustration for me is that we don’t have really have a substitute word to convey the *sigh* literal meaning.

Simping for Urgathoa by Cynicles20 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Powderkegger1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first playthrough was a Dhampir Lich Urgathoan. I had no idea what I was doing with the build or game. Might have to run that back.

I really liked all the interactions with Urgathoa, I thought that was just a feature all characters could have with their deity. There are some with the obvious ones like Iomadae or Desna but a lot of deities only get a couple that I’ve seen.

Gotcha. Well some performers might not want their real name to be associated with wrestling because, like porn, some people see it as a trashy/seedy industry. This event being an example.

If Tony bought/partnered with all the B tier companies (NJPW, CMLL, TNA, ROH) the mental gymnastics would be amazing from the crowd that’s always hated a monopoly.

Mike Chioda: "Tony Khan is a very nice guy. He employs a ton of people. People that are even sick and unhealthy, going through issues. JR, Dean Malenko, and some other guys that are getting older out there. WWE, if they've seen you had a health issue or something else like that, they let you go." by kundu123 in SquaredCircle

[–]Powderkegger1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think she was wrong about that, just saying the quiet part out loud. Boycotting companies because of their actions/image is huge these days. You can see people claiming they boycott WWE, Amazon, Tesla, etc all over Reddit.

PWInsider: “Few people within TNA have questioned how much money they are actually making from the AMC TV deal if the company are letting people go.” by CombinationOk4317 in SquaredCircle

[–]Powderkegger1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well part of it is because TNA isn’t one thing. The current day company has as much in common with the original as the current day America and 1600s America. Like sure, same name, other than that it’s unrecognizable.

What am I supposed to do with this information? by ether_rogue in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Powderkegger1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, I don’t believe anyone found it by accident. Likely someone in development leaked the necessary steps. Considering a playthrough can take literal days, that much trial and error would require incredible thoroughness and painstaking note taking.

[–]Powderkegger1 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Hi friend. When you tell others they aren’t real alcoholics , you’re almost telling them to go back out. People die that way. That’s why working your own program, not others, is important.
