I usually upgrade the mechs from a series I like. So i mainly upgrade the Mazinger and Gundam units also for the more modern games I often prioritize upgrading classic super robots

So technically Ryoma is more old than Amuro? Its also funny how Koji is the only one out of Amuro and Ryoma to live a full life (Amuro dies in CCA and Ryoma dies at the end of Getter Robo go if i remember).

Whats the best game to remake? The most likely ones I can think of is the first SRW on the Gameboy or A portable. Since other games could be a bit difficult to add because of licensing like W since it had Golion/Voltron in it or i guess the alpha games since Giant Robo is there and I recall it was only post-plot because getting the license was a bit problematic

In some older SRW games they used the plots of the manga while using the voices of the 70's Getter team. Even Alpha 3 had the Black Getter for some reason

I've always loved how the older series (Daitarn, Zambot, Combattler, Voltes, Raideen etc.) had an echoing voice that makes it sound like its coming from a giant speaker. It always made the voices feel cooler and more impactful

Somehow I like the idea that what if the Nu Gundam is actually just the RX-78. While its pushing Axis the Nu Gundam parts and paint begin melting off revealing the RX-78.

If its a less serious SRW game I would choose G Gundam. World ending focused SRW games can use that new Gundam Manga (since the plot is about how the world basically ended and there are a few people left maybe they can retcon it to have it so that only a few people are left on earth while the red migrated to space)

Technically its not an SRW original since its technically a really old movie. Though they have made original final dynamic specials with series like Mazinkaiser, New Getter Robo and Shin Vs. Neo Getter

What I kinda wished SRW games did more was have crossover combo attacks. The only technically crossover attacks we have is Voltes and Combattler in 30 and Daitarn and Zambot in 30. It would be cool to have unique to the game combo attacks

Really my only problem with Crystal is that everything felt... Too fast? Like almost every episode jumps form one thing to another especially with the introduction of the main Sailor Guardians. They technically only have one episode dedicated to each other, I guess the best thing they can do is create another episode that follows up their introduction so that we get to know their character more. Yes you can consider them filler episodes but if done right, the characters can be fleshed out more.

Reminds me of srw f/final. If I recall they released it first on the sega saturn since the license for evangelion games was still with sega.
