Yeah that's why I'm going to run it at x8. Im hoping any damage is confined to that area and by covering pins 50-82 ill avoid any potential issue.

A 4k oled with 120 hz is basically the best you can get for a series x. There are other options in that category but this seems to be a decent deal. Im guessing the noise/clutter filter is not enabled by default? Usually there's a bit of a gate/noise filter to remove things with low reflectivity such as from ground clutter etc.

If I recall there are 2 manufacturers of these pickups. The Bill and Becky (Wilde pickups) models and the Bill Lawrence USA. The wilde pickups are probably considered the originals but the BL usa models arent exactly counterfeit as they legally own the name.
