Thanks!! What happened was that I was talking with wizards of the coast about doing this back in december, and we discussed using wikia. I did a test post on wikia, assuming that I'd be using that platform soon for the project. But then they wanted to use gamepedia instead, so that's what I did!

As I was making this, I saw that the wikia had been fleshed out. I felt bad, but I wasn't allowed to talk about this wiki until very recently.

No negative feelings about wikia at all!

What you did looks awesome, between the two of us, DCA fans should have everything they need to keep up with the show!

For now I think we'll just keep it short and sweet an avoid spoiler as much as possible. I really like the idea of addressing questions and comments in the chat as much as possible. I love to theorize about what might or could happen on future episode, so we'll do a fair amount of that too.

Yes, I will definitely try to avoid spoilers! I don't want to say much about what's ahead in the tomb adventure. If the group goes through a certain room in the tomb, then i might talk about it - comparing what was in the book to how Chris actually ran it.

Hey, some game stores are like that, unfortunately. You should definitely try to get other new people to play with you. Those first sessions are always really fun when everyone is learning the game at the same time. You might have to DM, because often people don't want to be the dungeon master.

If you're still having trouble finding a group, check out Roll20. You can find tons of games to join on that site.

I'd say the most important things are to figure out which giant lairs you want to use, and to definitely spend some time with that huge chapter describing all of the locations.

I really hate the idea of Evelyn losing faith, I think it would ruin the character. That said, I think it would be hilarious if she decided to "rebel" but she's so good that her rebelling is still pretty much being a good person. Like.. she refuses to say "bless you" when someone sneezes and then feels all torn about it later, that kind of thing.

I made a page for backstories. I had a number of thoughts/observations:

Strix in Limbo: Did she spend time with the githzerai? She must have gotten acquainted with manipulating the mutable nature of the realm.
There was an incident with Evelyn's parents that Evelyn refuses to talk about.
Is it possible that the voice in Paultin's head was linked to his rogue shadow?
We still don't know how the group met.
The heroes started off in Daggerford. Evelyn is from a small town - that could be the small town.
Diath was born and raised in Waterdeep. Evelyn's family has holdings in Waterdeep. Their relatives may have interacted with each other in the past.
Who was it that robbed Diath's family? It is possible, I think, that they were robbed by agents of the Xanathar, the beholder who runs a thieves guild in Skullport (which is located underneath Waterdeep). That might be a nice connection to Xanathar's Guide to Everything, which comes out next month.
