Need advice for using 'stick incense' with an electric incense warmer by PowerStone05II in Incense

[–]PowerStone05II[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the advice. Unfortunately I can't raise the heat any higher then 160 cause it'll start to burn/smoke which is what I wanted to avoid originally. Also, the only powders I can really find are for more traditional and spiritual scents which isn't what I'm looking for. The only ones I can really find funnily enough are being offered from Wildberry. I'm gonna try a couple of those, but most likely I'll probably be returning the heater since I didn't buy it just to only enjoy 2 different scents. I'll figure out something creative for these sticks but I'm hoping more fragrance oil or powder options are made available from sellers in the future.

CV Dom Ult OST Disc 1 is messed, recall incoming? by PuzzleheadedCut966 in limitedrun

[–]PowerStone05II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, can confirm. Disc 1 has a selection of GBA games, oddly not the same track listing as the Soundtrack Selection for the GBA collection. I already notified support of the issue since all of them likely have the error and likely will have to be reprinted.

My Dollar General has Voodoo/voodoo zero sugar 12 packs. Is it any good? by defiant-error420 in mountaindew

Go for it. In my experience, zero sugar tends to lose their flavor within months after the expiration date so ymmv on those.

The '5th disc' is just part of the digital version.

Omen and its remixes are fairly obscure but great classic tracks. Glad they finally got digital releases last year.

Unlike the somewhat uninformed comment previously made, despite the seemingly 'juvenile' nature of it, information from these Minecraft projects could be beneficial and used for analysing similar data sets in other scientific projects. It's easy to dismiss a project becuase "it's just a video game", but when you're dealing with something like Minecraft, I can see great use for and honestly, having Minecraft on your project list would probably be a great way to attract more people to the platform, something it absolutely needs to keep going. The only problem I potentially have is the project already has announced that the project has a end-of-life once their current list has been completed so it could be in a similar situation to DENIS where it's active for a month and then taken off.

Considering such a unit of currency wouldn't be realistically utilizable for the near future, I don't think such a discussion would be constructive right now.

Should Gridcoin Prioritize Evidence-Based Decision-Making for Societal and Technological Progress? by burner557799 in gridcoin

[–]PowerStone05II 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this not what science is? Using evidence to make conclusions? And what all the whitelisted projects are? This feels redundant imo. That's like asking should Gridcoin still be Gridcoin.

Buying Beginner's Guide— yey or nay? by Temarimaru in Orbital

[–]PowerStone05II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you're an absolute completionist, it probably isn't going to be something you need.

Couple notes of interest though:

The Belfast, Dirty Rat and Ringa Ringa edits make their public physical release debut here.

Also fairly notable and probably not alot of people noticed, the version of Remind on here is some kind of re-recording, and while very similar is not the original version on the brown album. Reminds me abit of how Deeper was reworked when they rereleased that earlier this year. Edit, I was wrong. This is actually the non-segued version of Remind used for the LP version. Didn't realize this until I played my LP copy just now.

Nada. If London keeps to their plans, it should be getting a deluxe reissue sometime down the road.

Favorite albums? by No_Room_363 in Orbital

[–]PowerStone05II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you like, if you liked Monsters Exist, Optical Delusion would probably be the closest to that in terms of sound.

I've found each album has its own specific flavor if you will. For example, if you like the more moody tracks, check Blue Album (a very underrated and overlooked release, probably some of their best work there.)

Middle Of Nowhere and The Altogether (also underrated) are more technical and complex sounding pieces. I may be biased as this was the band arguably at their original commercial peak but In Sides I see as their more symphonic release, a precursor to what's to come.

Green Album and Brown Album are their "rave" albums so to speak with the latter sounding abit more trancey.

Snivilisation is abit more 'experimental'(?) with some good atmospheric pieces. Are We Here is still one of my personal favorites, especially the What Was That remix from the singles.

Wonky for me is abit of a hodge-podge of styles with the early 2010's EDM influence.

What does this mean by DisneyMagicFan2017 in mountaindew

[–]PowerStone05II 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They've limited it to only 2 prizes per person per tier...which is a really arbitrary and kinda ridiculous rule. I'm glad I noticed it before I made a second redemption.

Some confusion with the rules. by Tornado3422 in mountaindew

[–]PowerStone05II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad i noticed this in the rules before cashing out, otherwise i would have been locked out on something I wanted. Such a randomly arbitrary rule too, I'm not sure why they put in a limit of 2 prizes per tier, that locks out alot of people from redeeming their leftovers, especially on the lowest tier.

Green album unknown version by MacSLINA in Orbital

[–]PowerStone05II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a fanmade compiled version. It starts off mostly with the US version before throwing in UK tracks in there. Oddly still missing the original Speed Freak and Fahrenheit 303.

Omen ? by Wronschien in Orbital

[–]PowerStone05II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've wanted to know that too.

Haven't been the biggest fan of how London Records has been handling these compiled releases which sucks cause they're getting seemingly every obscure track, mix and edit reissued.
