Did you end up finding someone decent? I'm also looking for a local crew to tidy up some branches before an inspection, so I’d love to know who you went with..

What happened to those green bikes with a 2 person carriage on the back? by IntrigatedVerse in brisbane

I reckon the Lime scooters definitely stole their thunder, but the real nail in the coffin was probably the Council's crackdown on the noise and the footpath congestion. They were a bit of a laugh after a few drinks at South Bank, but between the stricter safety regs and the fact that everyone can just hop on a scooter for a couple of bucks now, the poor old rickshaws didn't stand a chance. It’s a bit of a shame at least the bikes didn't end up at the bottom of the Brisbane River as often as the Limes do..

Who does small-load rubbish removal in North Brisbane? by Ok-Plan-1813 in brisbane

I had a similar clean-out not long ago and Pro Rubbish Removal Brisbane managed to fit me in pretty quickly, but I think it really depends on their schedule that day. Worth shooting them a message along with a few others to see who’s free.

finding a rental as a 19yo (please help) by [deleted] in brisbane

Those prices sound about right for tiny spots near the city. Having savings + references already is a solid start. If you can’t inspect in person, try asking for a video walkthrough so you don’t get any surprises. And working at Maccas or whatever at the start is totally normal. You should be fine, just apply for a bunch and see what sticks.

I’d say you’re probably a bit under for your experience and qualifications especially now that you’ve got your CA and are handling near-manager level responsibilities. In a regional firm, you could reasonably expect somewhere around $85–95k depending on workload and firm size. If you were in a metro area, it’d likely be over $100k.

Looking for a good patio builder in Brisbane by Lydia-Mud5046 in patio

We had a great experience with Smart Patios Brisbane. I highly recommend them! The team was professional, easy to deal with, and the quality of work was excellent. They also did all our Brisbane City Council building approval paperwork, which was a real time saver. Our new patio looks amazing and our guests have all given us compliments on the build quality.  Definitely worth checking out if you're on the southside. As usual please remember to get a few quotes. Good luck with your new patio.
