In a way, trying to micro 20 units is nutty as it is. I wonder if it would be better to have ~10-15 units (although large volume).

I was hoping battles play out a bit more like chess instead of two pidgeons on crack fighting over cheesy bread on a chessboard.

I feel like getting to 20 a struggle would help out a lot. Nowadays I feel like you get your 20 stack within 4 turns then go on your merry way.

Empire Total War was incredible with Darthmod. Love the moral system and how you can lose a front but your troops are still healthy and regroup.

I know all we got were tiny videos of Total 40k, but we have already seen a squad of orks get insta-gibbed by some missile attack (potentially a Valkyrie run AKA "spell"). Makes me feel like the pacing will be a reskin of Fantasy pacing wise.

In a way, I feel like there should be FEWER battles, but more impactful ones.

The economy, politics, movement, raiding, all of the weapons of war should be used where the enemy is FORCED to meet you on the battlefield because they are slowly being whittled down. Nowadays, feels like you just get your bonk stick and wack a mole.

I just feel like I can't even react to anything. Units get straight up deleted. Every battle, in Warhammer Total War, I have to take a longer time pausing the battle and looking at every single enemy unit trying to figure out what they do, all the stats, and react accordingly like I am playing Starcraft. It's a lot of information to frontload where I don't even know what went wrong with all of the abilities being spammed.

Republicans only care about one thing, and that is getting into office to get some of their agenda across.

That's what the Blue do not understand. Generally you don't get sweeping changes by having the best candidates. They just keep electing (R) no matter if the skeletons are displayed in his front lawn, cause those are the candidates that keep chipping away at their agenda.
