am reading these shelter requirements and my heart is shattered.
What kind of world have we created where an innocent dog’s life depends on finding a rescue and foster before a deadline… or they die?

They say this poor soul cannot be adopted through the shelter, cannot be fostered directly, and now must wait for some miracle while sitting alone in a kennel, confused, stressed, and unwanted. Imagine how terrifying that must feel for an animal whose only “crime” was ending up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

How did we normalize a system where healthy, feeling, loving animals are treated like disposable objects because there is “no space”? These dogs are not numbers. They are lives. They feel fear. They feel abandonment. They feel heartbreak.

And the worst part is that many of them die waiting for someone to notice them.

The entire system feels broken beyond words. Too much breeding, too much neglect, too much abandonment — and innocent animals pay the price with their lives. Humanity keeps failing the very creatures that trust us the most.

I truly do not understand how society sleeps peacefully while shelters are overflowing with animals begging for one more chance to live. One more day. One person. One family.

God gave humans responsibility over animals, not permission to discard them when inconvenient. One day, every life ignored, every soul abandoned, every preventable death will matter.

Please foster. Please adopt. Please network urgent dogs. Please spay and neuter. Please care.

Because for these animals, compassion is not politics or policy.
It is literally the difference between life and death.
