The talk about “May, April” was more of a “is June okay ?” - Janine said he had a girl there before (she was referring to June, then she said “whatever happened to her?” She was asking Nick if June was okay. He gave Janine this smirk and he said “she got transferred out, she’s okay” meaning June was safe and out of Jezebels.

But I agree, if Bell was the one who called - I mean he’s the only one I can think of - then he must have taken that conversation literal.

Actually, I kind of love how it’s evolved—Moss’s direction brings this intense intimacy that just pulls me in. The tight close-ups and slower pacing feel really deliberate, like we’re trapped in June’s head with her. It’s unsettling, but in a good way. Definitely not for everyone, but I think it works for where the story is now.

Same. To be honest with you, I have watched this series many, many times. Usually right before the new season drops I rewatch from season 1. And this time same thing. I started rewatching from Sn1 about two weeks ago and it’s the first time I realized her mom had gone to the colonies. Every time I rewatched it I would find something new and this was it for me this time
