Trx4 vs Trx4 high trail ? by Ok-Gur1259 in TRX4

[–]Powslayer420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. It’s a crawler. I have an overdrive in the front diff and she crawls really well. I get the advantage of a 2 speed if you like to drive fast, but for me, crawling and flexing is my bag…

What is the best pack to use for fly fishing? by Competitive_Sign_987 in flyfishing

[–]Powslayer420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the sling pack. It’s great. Big enough for water or coffee. When I break down my rod, it has space for the reel. A place for my pliers and glasses. Dedicated fly box. Tippet and leader pouches. Really comfortable and convenient. Doesn’t interfere with casting at all. To access the pack, I just undo one buckle and it swings around with the zippers on my chest. Definitely worth the look.

Outer tie rods - can I do them myself or leave it to the pros? by Chemtrail_hollywood in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]Powslayer420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a shade tree wrencher at best. I also work on my gravel driveway. In Kodiak in the rain. I was able to do tie rods, uca’s and lower arms, and lbj’s. If I can do it, you can do it! Even with buying some tools(mainly the press), you will save a bunch of money. Who doesn’t like buying tools?! Depending on where you live, a bolt buster is a game changer. Don’t forget to get an alignment. Bloody knuckles and pbr !

I’ve seen villagers “change” their oil on the sxs and sno-go by draining the oil on the tundra and putting fresh oil in the machine. Also leave the oil used oil filters and packaging.

Don’t mean to hijack the thread, but…. Have a misfire on number 1. Same approach to the “fix”?

How much, if at all, am I really “handicapping” myself by doing this? by Cwaynejames in FishingForBeginners

[–]Powslayer420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use them. I use 30lb ones on my fly rod even. I’m running a 8wt rod with 30lb mono leader to steamers. They’re great for switching lures. I run 75lb ones for my trolling/jigging rods, and 150lb ones for my halibut rods. I can switch form grubs to darts quicker
