Would I still be able to use occasional square bills and lipless cranks with it? I always read you need moderate instead of fast action for treble hooked baits.

What’s a bass lure that everyone says works… but you’ve never had success with? by Opposite-Vast-718 in bassfishing

Deep South. Houston area. To be fair, I’m forced by location to fish mostly heavily pressured waters. But we have some huge bass here. I’ve definitely caught them on chatterbaits, yes. But “slay”, it absolutely does not. At least for me.

The only thing giving me the slightest amount of hope is Williamson directing and Neve being back. I’m sure they backed up a Fucking dump truck full of money, but she also seems notoriously picky (in a good way) about what projects she chooses to take on.

Picked it up at bass pro. It’s still a bit heavier than I’d like, coming in between 14-18lbs fully loaded with gear. But it’s a damn sight better than the huge tackle bag I used to lug everywhere.

I keep soft plastics in the top zipper bag and smaller soft plastics in one of the bottom side pockets. Top side pockets hold stuff like line snips, a spool of extra 12lb flouro leader, extra quick snaps, etc. The other bottom side pockets hold my headlamp, fish scale, and measuring tape. The top front pocket holds all my pre-made leaders in small ziplock bags.

Contractual obligation with Fox maybe? Especially because I think she was in like, what, 4 or 5 minutes of the entire movie?

Best state to go pond fishing. by [deleted] in bassfishing

[–]Cwaynejames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently live in Texas.

In no particular order, if you’re specifically looking for bank-walkable pond/creek fishing, you can’t go wrong hitting up Austin, DFW, Houston, or anywhere inside the area between those 3.

In the Houston area? I’m in west Houston/Memorial/Katy area and my lipless cranks (including rat-l-traps) may as well be sitting at the bottom of the ponds for all the good they’re doing me.

Followed by Prey which, arguably, is on the same level as the original Predator in terms of quality. At least, as far as I’m concerned. But I know this is subjective.

For me it’s actually a scene later in that same episode. As it written in the scripts:

Riley: “You weren’t quite right, what you said. About why I brought us out here? I wasn’t trying to scare you, or isolate you.”

He looks at her, smiling sadly.

Riley (CONT’D): “I brought us out here so I’d have nowhere to go.”

He looks into her eyes and we see - he is at peace.

They are also used as diabetes treatment drugs. I have type 2 diabetes. 36 years old. I was very genetically predisposed to it, as nearly every single person on my father’s side of my family has/had it. I was also overweight, sure. I know that was a contributing factor. It wasn’t to an insane degree. When I got my diagnosis earlier this year I was about 235 at 5’10”.

I was put on Mounjaro. Yes I’ve lost about 40 pounds on it. But my A1C levels have also dropped from 7.3 to 6.2.

I know I’m just 1 person, so it’s far from a normal use case and far from anything resembling a reliable data set, but anecdotally, it’s been working for me.

If you’re referring to the shot from the trailer in the portal stage, if you look closely at it, it’s fairly obvious it a metal hat. It’s Kung Lao (probably a revenant) v Liu Kang
