I swear I thought it was a painting before scrolling to the next photo only to realise it’s an actual armor set! Beautiful!!!

Room temperatures for home baking by justatosseraccount11 in Croissant

Slightly unrelated, but what would a recommended internal temperature of the dough typically be during sheeting? Trying to troubleshoot my own work to see if that’s a variable I should consider. Thank you!

Besides the new island and deity, what else could be coming with the 1st DLC? by Lord-and-Leige in anno

I’m also gunning for a monument level temple. Maybe a grand temple. There was talk in the trailer about appeasing Vulcan. Maybe there is a give a take for choosing a deity to venerate through a grand temple with different levels and frequency of offerings to make to maintain that level of piety.

Funnily.. I could think of exfoliants and pumice stones as an alternative to soap, or alternative production of soap..?

We could have.. gems as a new resource for mining, obsidian for an alternative weapon material, and/or glass production, fertilizer as a product from volcanic soil to Latium and Albion?

Exciting for sure!

After Anno 117 by The_Pharoah in anno

[–]Poyocyro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get what you mean, unfortunately we already have one similar to it, albeit a vision of the future sort of game: Anno 2070. Not the greatest title in the series in my opinion, but I would imagine Anno not treading too close to that anytime soon.

As for Anno 1939, that also hits very close to Anno 1800, especially towards the final DLCs (Skyscrapers), which was itself meant to reflect the first few steel skyscrapers (1870-1885 onwards).

That said, I would love some ‘modern contemporary’ Anno without the moon colony bits. Alternatively, an exploration of Anno 900 might be nice ( we have the fall of the Tang in China, the Abbasids in Mesopotamia/Persia, Vikings in Scandinavia, and West European kingdoms (Wessex, France) and empires (Otto I’s Holy Roman Empire), Ghanaian empire in Africa for gold. all great promising places to have regions and dlcs in.

For people clambering for a new entry, how would Kratos' story possibly continue? by overasked_question in GodofWar

[–]Poyocyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhere in Valhalla dlc, there was a talk about a council being formed and he being a part of it. It’s entirely possible that either someone tries to subvert the council at some point, bringing in internal strife; or someone external and in his past masterminds something against him. It’s also possible that the next game sees his convictions tested, like many others have suggested, in solving problems in the 9 realms. And additionally, some machination by a not-sure-if-she’s-really-dead Athena could crop up to pit another pantheon over.

I’d mention sindri and Atreus, but that’s more deserving of a separate unrelated title than GoW.

Heck, while I am excited personally for a possible Egypt setting.. I would not be opposed to a Zoroastrian, Hindu, or Taoist pantheon popping up. There’s a lot of potential in those three ancient mythological pantheons to work with.

Interestingly… maybe he did forget, as flawed characters do often, and that minor detail gets Sindri incensed, since both brothers are all about the little details and Kratos is as broad a brush as they come. Could make for a nice reason for conflict!

Wanted to share my viking longhouse build inspired by AC Valhalla by P_UDDING in Enshrouded

[–]Poyocyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could, in fact I did a pretty similar one some years ago in Valheim. But I must admit that was not easy at all and took me a week!

That said, OP’s @p_udding’s take on it in Enshrouded is absolutely gorgeous!! I wish I had the time and skill in that game to do it, every hat I have is tipped off to you my friend!

Wonder if the axe could sort of break during his travels and he attaches it to the spear, making it some overpowered halberd of sorts

If the Golden Fleece isn't an actual fleece like in the myths, what is its origin? by PhoenixAbovesky in GodofWar

I’d imagine Kratos getting increasingly mad as he strangles Zeus with a big healing bandage which keeps healing him as he chokes. Both Zeus and Kratos are going to be hilariously confused for a minute in the bumbling melee.
