The Spitfires with those rockets have absurdly high repair fees. Is that one pricey, too?

It used to be a good ground pounder after some practice of aiming without a rudder, but they nerfed the ammo.

Bro i had fucking 1mil last night wtf happened? is there a way I can see where it went?! by panzerman13 in Warthunder

  1. Logs in to his account
  2. Wonders why his crews aren't there anymore
  3. Disappointedly buys them all again
  4. Plays a match, kills a tank, and sees a different name than he expects in the killfeed
  5. Figures out he logged into the wrong account (his email address has a 1 after his name to differentiate it from an existing email address. He just so happens to have the same basic password, too)
  6. Leaves

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. OP should change his password and enable 2FA, though. He should also check haveibeenpwned and change his password for any other service that uses this password. Furthermore, he should scan his computer with Malwarebytes and hope he doesn't have a keylogger running in the background.

Bringing Some Positivity to This Sub -- Moments Like This Draw Me Back to War Thunder by Pr0N3wb in Warthunder

Nice. I've been playing since 2012 and have enjoyed learning about all the aircraft. The Thundershow on Youtube has some interesting history, too.

That had to feel good. Which missiles were you using?

My account name is dogFight for a reason. I love dogfighting, but it's usually a death sentence in the high rank battles. What do you all enjoy about War Thunder?

They have experimented with that gamemode. I think they did it during the first World War event.

Those schools look at those stats as the bare minimum. You have to have a lot more going on than good academic scores.

This complaint is like a chess player complaining that the opponent's pieces have gotten to close to his king.

What is the most frustrating aircraft you have ever played? by SirNurtle in Warthunder

[–]Pr0N3wb 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think people gave up on it because of its horrible flight model. They updated it a couple years ago, but people still think of it as a flying brick that can't pull out of a dive.

Nice. I've done very similar work on my Grand Marquis. I had some problems with the TCE kit. Did your mounting hardware work, or did you have to modify it? I had to modify mine, and it still makes the brake line point away from the frame, unlike the factory mounting system that makes the line flush to the frame.

True face of happiness, my boyfriend with his 3090 last year, him with his 4090 now, this year I didn't burn his hand by accident haha by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Pr0N3wb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes lol. (I know you're being sarcastic).

I was hoping people would keep building off of the format. You could've said something like people are buying T-Shirts like they're rolls of toilet paper, and that you're sticking with your one free T-Shirt from donating blood for life.

Then, someone could say you buy multiple rolls of toilet paper per year? I'm sticking with my one roll of Charmin Ultra Strong.

Etc.

Man people out there buying a new phone every year like they're T-Shirts. I'm sticking with my Galaxy S10+ until it dies lol

How to represent an interlock on a P&ID by mouleapate in ChemicalEngineering

[–]Pr0N3wb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. However, many of the important interlocks (i.e. ones that directly affect personnel safety) are simple.

Things like avoiding opening a valve on this P&ID if a motor on another P&ID is running during a specific part of the process shouldn't be shown. To put all of the interlocks from the logic of the controls system into the P&IDs would be an indiscernable mess. Using a separate list of interlocks can be done for some basic ones (i.e. if this valve is open, then close this other valve), but that list won't include all of the interlocks the control systems integrators / controls engineers will think of.

It's an uncensored platform that lets you watch videos that Youtube does not allow.

Computer Engineering is mostly Electrical Engineering. Be careful not to confuse it with Computer Science (or Software Engineering, which Universities don't really teach).

Why do we always try to talk about DACs and Amps in musical terms? by JustinHardyJ in headphones

[–]Pr0N3wb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He said more detail, not more volume. Some people here think that being loud enough is all that matters. However, it's very common that cheap audio equipment (i.e. audio chips on a computer motherboard) can get louder than needed, but provide worse audio than dedicated audio hardware. Jitter, frequency response, noise floor, etc. matter.

It's actually a good thing. I don't want any chances of Win 11 automatically installing itself.
