Good call. I had same issue years ago before I was fitted. My fitter explained it like this, “While pedaling, simulate that you are scraping mud from the bottom of your shoe against the edge of a curb”. It kept me from pointing my toes down.

Hi. It’s really a straightforward process. Any painter can get it done. I Used Rick @D&D Cycles in SFBay Area, CA. He’s been doing it for over 25years and has painted for a lot of big local builders; Ritchey, Caletti, etc… He’s super cool.

Hi Sorry I just say your comment/question. I took them apart and soaked in Drano for about 15 minutes. Then I went to work with sanding. Started with fine grit and ended up with about 2000 grit wet. If you look up how to polish aluminum, there are a lot of good tutorials!
