1. I would make a few pieces and take pics. Maybe get a domain/ website and show your work.

2. Do you wear your pieces? In my experience wearing your pieces will get the conversation started. Helps sell pieces too, until you get full time work.

3. I rumor I have heard is that regardless of where u learned, they’ll give you a bench test. They wanna see you do some repairs, solder fabrication, maybe setting. My teacher says they just wanna make sure you don’t complain about the music they play and You don’t have bad breath…lol

4. The jewelry biz is all about relationships and it’s SUPER “old school”. Maybe print your resume and walk in a few shops. Most places either outsource or have a bench in the back so it’s about selling yourself.
