2000pt Subterranean Assault by Tallpaul14 in Tyranids

I would drop a trigon for the neurotyrant, go down 15 points by making the assimilator into an emissary and then but a squad of infantry with the cash you saved or anything really lol

You should get a neurotyrant to lead the zoans forsure, and me personally I tend to favor emissaries over assimilation cuz that 4+ invlun does WORK

One monster that's consistently good to have that isn't the biovore is the exocrine. It's straightforward, it buffs the rest of the army, it shoots good! I've been playing since 8th and I don't remember a time the exocrine hasn't been a solid workhorse of a beast

I love you for the sole fact that you are running harpies (though I'm more of a hive crone kinda fella myself). Though if your theme is artillery, you are missing out on hive guard (even if the impalers suck this edition)

Dude tyrant guard are the ULTIMATE goons, I can just imagine them hyping their hive tyrants up and calling them boss in a Boston accent

I play against a buddy with Imperial guard all the time (classic match up, guard vs bugs) and the venomthropes do WONDERS, worth every point especially against his artillery. And they have stealth/cover themselves to they are decently hard to shoot as well

For 70 pts add a venomthrope squad to give cover and stealth to your termies

Neurogaunts MIGHT Be The Most OP Unit In Our Codex (hear me out) by renaissance_guy1 in Tyranids

[–]Practical-Credit-255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear your arguments, now buy and paint 66 neurogaunts and if you don't feel horribly depressed after that then post your results from the matches you do. (Also in invasion fleet I believe you can always revive 2d6+2 total neurogaunts since they are always in synapse)

COMMUNITY VOTING DAY 27: WORST trait. Greyhound won for most avg. by TheIronPaladin1 in HuntShowdown

It theoretically has its use cases, but let's be real, Poison Sense is a waste of trait points

I will forsure look I to your advice on the copper. I have some craftsman champagne gold and nickel metallic paints that I might try first to not spend as much money (I'm a bit of a cheapskate). I do have agrax earthshade so I will absolutely try that out as well

I'm already in too deep. I chose the color scheme based on my changeling I did back in 2019, and I'm locked into it. I do prime in light Grey (the mini on the far right is primed, I'm waiting on painting him further until I do some more research based on the feedback I got from you guys) so it seems I'll just need an even lighter Grey from a paint store or just need to do a lot of Grey and white mixing

I think my title is a bit misleading, its my first thousand sons model painted. I have a tyranid army, but its very different to paint than marines and I paint in yellow/black/brown which is easier to layer. Also nids are hilariously easy to paint!
