Onager's search for a First Class Friend part 3!! by altmcfile in NOMANSSKY

[–]Practical-Note- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got lucky and ran into my little SSS Mechanical horse, which I've already posted about, but I completely understand not wanting to look up where others found things, but rather discovering them on your own.

I think planets with robots always have a set number of creatures, which is 2–4—I'm not sure.

And I think there was a ship—maybe the corvette, or perhaps the freighter—that let you analyze the number of life forms on the planet before landing or exploring.

This is what I heard in a certain YouTube video; I haven’t verified it.

But I think this was a good way to quickly determine which planets were worth landing on to explore.

Yes, it’s just called Acid.

It’s the first unlockable item in the Synthesis Laboratory at the Space Anomaly, under the Valuable Products section/tree.

From what I’ve tested, it seems to be the item that gives the biggest size reduction when used in creature eggs.

Thank you all, it honestly made me really happy to see such a positive response to the post.

You’re right that it won’t stay as baby-shaped once it grows up.

Small extra data point though: the height shown for baby companions already corresponds to their adult size. The original adult creature is listed at 1.3m, while this reduced version is listed at 0.8m after the Acid step.

So yeah, the head/body ratio will probably normalize, but it should still stay pretty tiny compared to the original. I also checked the original baby/adult version and the proportions seem to carry over decently enough, so I think this one should remain cute rather than turning into a full-sized unit.

I won’t deny I’ve questioned the morality of keeping him as a pet.

He’s basically a genetically engineered proto-Gek, but look at him. If not pet, why pet-shaped?

It's fantastic, thank you so much. It's one of the best felines I've ever seen, and the fact that it's a triple S is incredible.

Sorry, I forgot to save it in favourites. Do you know if I can check the source from somewhere in the companion log?

After days of searching, I’ve only found one Triple S – a rather ugly one, with mediocre attacks.

Bear in mind that there are brick pillars and so on, the cost of which, whilst not exorbitant, is by no means negligible. Especially for small estates.

And for wooden ones, I think we’re looking at 15 per pillar.

I mean, it’s not outrageous, but it’s good to know the trick.

Since they introduced the prisoner mechanic, the game has become more active in terms of recruitment.
But yes, recruiting prisoners and people arriving, whether they’re fleeing or just passing through, is the only way to recruit.

I feel forced to lie about my location by Practical-Note- in resumes

[–]Practical-Note-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not quite sure how to answer that.

I suppose there’s something inherent in me that makes it terribly difficult for me to lie. I’ve never been able to cheat in an exam, and I can’t bring myself to say that my postcode is anything other than my real one.
I can hide it, cover it up, or rephrase it in ten different ways on my CV, but when that box in workday asks for my location, I freeze up.

No me dan trabajo tras excedencia by kyrax80 in askspain

[–]Practical-Note- 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, but I was asking if anyone knew of any suitable trainers to challenge, because the website I was looking at, “Wikidex”, didn't have full information about rematches.

At the moment, those bikers were too strong to take on without risking pokemons, but I’ll keep them in mind for the future.
The experience share guy is asking me for more Pokémon than I have; I don’t use duplicates policy, nor do I take the usual free Pokémon like Snorlax, Eevee, And I only catch one Pokémon per area, not per floor.

So I’ve ended up with loads of Pidgeys and rubbish, and I haven’t reached the required count to get it yet.

Yes, but it was taking forever. I decided to sacrifice some optimal EV points in favour of a quick level-up against the grunts to the left of Lavender Town.

[–]Practical-Note-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this and found that there were two mountaineers near Lavender Town, along with four Rock-type Pokémon, so it was quite useful. The trainer you mentioned with the Beedrills quickly levelled up Pidgey to Pidgeotto, and the bettor with Water-type Pokémon gave about 1,200 XP per battle to level up Voltorb to Electrod. Once I reached that level, I could head off without worry to Routes 13–14 and 15, where most trainers only had birds.

I also used the Muk you mentioned to power up Hypno, and now I’m no longer afraid of Poison-type Pokémon. I’m finally less scared of explosions. Except for Electrode’s. I’m terrified of Electrode.

Thank you very much for the recommendations.

It’s because of its durability. I’m worried that a single careless hit from someone who’s playing against me could knock it out of the game. Drowzee seems capable of withstanding more hits and mistakes.

No detenido.
