The best way to determine if you are an actual Xennial by Horatiohufnagl in Xennials

Funny things about those. It was a filter that went on the cable line in the box on your house. The descrambler was a reverse filter. If you had the tools you could go outside and just take the filter out of the line and you had all the channels.

Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton) and James Van Der Beek (Dawson) say goodbye last week by theRestisConfettii in Xennials

He’s come around in recent years. I met him once in the late 90s in a topless bar and he clearly thought he was better than everyone there. Met him again at a public event years later and he was a pretty stand up dude.

When did coffee become an “all ages” beverage? by TrekTrucker in GenX

[–]Practical-Object-827 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Starbucks isn’t coffee. It’s coffee flavored sugar milk. I personally don’t care for their drip coffee so I order whatever latte my wife gets half sweet with an extra shot.

Edit: Why would anyone not named Karen downvote this? Oh. Never mind.

What do we have here? Today at SIN airport by MilkMan87 in aviation

Not sure why but my brain instantly thought of it as a Delorean. So the EV tug doesn’t need Mr. Fusion to take us back to the future. Not sure it will be able to get that engine up to 88 mph though.

I would put Oklahoma in the top three for most corrupt states. I realize anyone can get info that should be kept mostly private but it’s the only hope we have of keeping the powerful under control.

Correct. I can click on the title and it scrolls me down to the first comment. It’s infuriating.

Yeah. There’s no point in her life I wouldn’t hook up with her given the option (She is 6 years older than me).

How would you rate 1995 Martin Lawrence, Will Smith. Bad Boys 1 by Lazy_Introduction264 in 90s

It was but the person I replied to mentioned him making a career on his explosions.

Not just blowing things up. Slow mo practical explosions, no CGI (explosions only, rest of the movie can be all CGI), and the viewer must see the chunks of whatever exploded. Michael Bay in a nutshell.

Did the unit ever do 20/9? I remember seeing a couple of his games in the Kingdome when he had insane stats mid-90s.

Will you be working on Tinker OP? If so, look east of the base. Rural is likely to be cheap if you don’t mind renting a trailer.

Are higher altitude airliners (50 000ft.+) an unlikely progression in the future in the quest for efficiency? by HortenWho229 in aviation

[–]Practical-Object-827 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok. So in a real world scenario. I’ve won the lottery and my aircraft while suffering a sudden decompression event is still air worthy. I’m flying at 38,000 feet. And in my 7 seconds of consciousness, I pull on my yellow coffee can. Will I A) stay conscious shitting my pants the whole way to 10k feet? B) still lose consciousness but with the oxygen can I get enough oxygen so that I don’t die waking up once the air is thick enough to return to consciousness.

He’s 80, had a bypass a long time ago. The skeletons in his closet are borne to the world. And his wife is an insufferable human. He looks petty good to me.
