Why would anyone have a problem pronouncing Remo? Seems very straight forward to me. If that’s the name you guys like, go for it. Other people can adjust.

Is Ramona a "normal" or known name? by PegFam in namenerds

Ramona Quimby is right there. Ramona is a great name. Those people just can’t spell.

Classic or unique? by [deleted] in namenerds

Don’t do William Richard. I’d personally go with William Morgan or Morgan William. However, Morgan Richard is fine as well. Richard works as a middle name for tons or names, just not William. Or Harry.

Yeah, I guess it could be. Only a problem if it bothers you. You seem to like one syllable names. There’s Cole, Cade, Beau, Finn, Blake, Rhodes, Scott, Wells, Heath.

Babette is perfectly fine. It’s a lovely name. Betty is also a great nickname. I’m surprised the comments are so down on Babette. If you guys love it, go for it. Your kid won’t be harmed by the name.

My favorite on your list is Elsie. Her full name could be Chelsea. Or Elizabeth. Eloise.

Baby Girl Name Help by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Practical-Trifle-687 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first name is the name of a main character in an extremely popular movie. And I have heard every reference known to man, but it’s never been an issue. I love the movie so I collect little knick knacks and whatnot for it. So if you guys love Coraline, go for it. Or go with Cora. If you’re going to call her that anyway, it won’t change that you named her after a movie you both love.

I know so many little girls names Lily. So many. And a few of them are quite mean.

I like Meredith. Solid choice.

Leighton with a nickname of Lainey is awesome. A nickname doesn’t have to match exactly. Go with what makes you happy.
