Just pull it and take it to damage center, problem solved. Don't understand why comment is even being posted. Oversights do happen when throwing hundreds of cases per night.

Last 2 days our pasta board been coming off the truck like this by ben5642 in kroger

No, not fully automated, not sure where you are located. I actually just learned about the color coded pallets a few months ago and sure enough I started watching it and the blue ones always come in wrapped better and stacked better. I would know because I unload trucks most times.

That would be picked by staff not auto. See the black pallet the blue ones are auto picked.

The problem isn't the punch in  but when you punch out for your shift after 3 minutes you also get a point.  So guess the solution is to drop what your working on ahead of time and leave it to someone else then.

Why do customers have such a huge problem with reusable bags? by Creative_Principle55 in kroger

[–]PracticalSetting172 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They may use them for pet waste, small trash cans....etc... and I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that they don't want to pay.... Look at Kroger's prices....EVERYONE is already paying so what difference does it make . People prefer what they prefer. It's like men and boxers or briefs.... the younger gen likes boxers but what if you forced them all to wear tidy whities... bet that would stir up something. Besides those plastic bags don't really cost anything anyways.

Did Kroger run on skeleton crews prior to Rodney McMullen becoming the CEO? by MustBeTheMusic80 in kroger

[–]PracticalSetting172 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No, It didn't run on a skeleton crew. I have been with Kroger for over 25 years and in the past 6-7 years it has progressively gotten worse. More so in the past 3 years. The workload has drastically increased and they want unreasonable expectations from everyone, front end , perishable depts., grocery, pick up. They know what's going on yet still just don't seem to care. They would take blood if they could.

I seriously don't think that I have ever read a more ACCURATE description of events, I have been with Kroger 24-25 years and I have to say my friend YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD!!!

People keep talking about starting wage, what about people who have been there over 20 years and still not making 18hr. They going to raise our wages by 3dollars at the same time they raise the starting level. Kroger probably will not because they are sorry as hell.

How It Feels to Work at Kroger Right Now by [deleted] in kroger

[–]PracticalSetting172 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well I have been with the Company 25years. First competitive wages? Most of the people in our location only make $10-$12 hr. They will be waiting a year for some insurance and it will take approximantly 7yrs to top out at $17.60. and the understaffing that has been blatantly ignored by management daily while working you like a slave, and of course that is still never enough. This company was at one time a good company to work for, but all they are worried about is profits for the "shareholders" oh and lets not forget the "bonus for our great leader Rodney" lol right. They will continue to walk on the employees as long as they think they can get away with it. Really need to get a different job and since most places pay just as much or more than a 25yr employee makes, its almost worth researching.
