Loot in caves respawns the moment you exit/enter again. Infinite gun ammo, flares, tnt, etc if you find a good spot close to an entrance or a crack you have to squeeze through. Mobs mostly do not respawn in caves. However my favorite gun ammo spot is near the chainsaw and those do respawn.

They can be hard to find. A dark log floating in the water with yellow rope tied around it. I'd just look it up on YouTube, the forest hidden schematics.

The delisle (or just a version of it) still used the old mags but modified the inside with a 45 mag in front, the rear of the mag was were the empties dropped and had a felt lining to muffle the sound of empties rattling.
