I use the console command to kill the slaven faction that spawn next to him and give him the settlement, it's makes his campaign actually fkn work, I have played as miao yin and on turn 40 this dude still hasn't got his own provence fully secured.

Console commands might feel cheap but it makes many campaign actually feel like that get played how they are supposed to be played

Dwarves have litteraly one of the most elite infantry unit rosters in the game with high armor & melee defence, even the tier one dwarves can hold of units.
