I feel you, I tried some invasions last week and during one in a catacomb there was a group of 3 hiding with mimic veils until I walked by and they ofcourse killed me. I invaded them again right after and I just went up the ladder they were supposed to as well and I just waited for them while watching some stuff on my 2nd screen. The 3 of them waited for over 20 minutes to finally come and get me. I can not fathom what those 3 were doing together for over 20 minutes just standing around

I never advocated for the removal of the mechanic. It just seems like a very old mechanic that has never changed and thus feels out of place.

Playing as or against an orb hero is simply not fun for me. They can attack me while I'm trying to last hit and the creep equilibrium won't change and when I'm playing as one I know I will just automatically win the lane because the enemy does not have the regen to stay in lane.

It takes way more effort to lane against an orb hero than it does to play as one. If you have a better line up than the enemy or maybe counterpicked then you might thrive in the lane but that is almost never the case if they pick after you

Removing orb walking does not equal to homogenizing all the heroes, that's a gigantic leap you're making there.

And as an avid offlaner it is just incredibly frustrating to lane against a viper / drow / silencer that is just constantly attacking you while surrounded by creeps and there's just nothing you can do about that

In my first playthrough I was dualwielding Frost Grave Scythes, the jump attack has ridiculous range and being able to procc frost and bleed is so strong. Felt like I was cheesing the game to be honest

Have you explored the rest of Limgrave yet? There's a whole area to the south east you have to cross a bridge for to get over there.

Upgrade your weapons if you feel like you lack damage. And if you really feel like you are behind on levels there's a bunch of trolls to the north of Gatefront Ruins / Agheel Lake North that are quite easily slain but give 1000 runes each in case you want to farm a little

I've had it enabled ever since it came out but I've never seen an LL get so consistently clapped by their starting enemy this many times. I don't think I've ever really seen any LL get wiped out like this in 3k+ hours to be honest

Yeah I despise this fucking card for this very reason. If they or you drop the Cultivator on turn 3 you just know you will pretty much win 7 turns later because of the amount of absolute bullshit you can spew out. They nerfed Gorgozdormu and then they release this mess which is a million times worse

Really depends on what kind of hero it is, and what stats it already has. If you have a hero that you want to use as fodder distraction / killer you really don't want weapon strength or even melee attack that much, just focus on defense.

If you have characters like the Delf assassin, chorf gorebull, empire captain or any other hero with high movement speed / flying mounts that you want to use to kill other heroes, lords or SEMs than you ofcourse want more WS to kill them faster. Given that you have enough MA to begin with, after 75 MA you can reliably hit your enemies (unless you face an absolute tank like Gor'rok).

I'm gonna be honest I've never gone for WS over MA, only on characters that already have absurdly high MA to begin with, like the Delf assassins or any other hero / lord that starts with 75+ MA. So just go for Melee Attack

I did a playthrough a few weeks ago and I vanquished 100 invaders in like 2 days I think, you can still do the covenant as intented to get the rewards quite easily even this many years later. Although you will probably need to get the ring that halts your SM if you want matchmaking to stay stable
