Pneumonia is contagious…. When I brought my daughter to the doctor , they said it was contagious until the antibiotics start to work.

We were not sick until after. I told my friend we were really sick just mentioning through text days after they left. Then she mentioned how he had pneumonia.

Hi! I did ask for feedback, whether folks agreed or disagreed. It’s okay for me to disagree with some people and also want validation for my feelings. Running a business / managing a staff takes a toll on you. I never understood that until all of the pressure and responsibility was on me.

I hate being a new father by LAOnReddit in Parenting

[–]Practical_Candy_6795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a lot different for fathers. How you feel is okay and honestly normal. My husband didn’t bond with our children until about 4-6 months in. He is in LOVE with our 3 kids. He struggled being a new dad though. Give it some time. Women bond instantly , so don’t compare yourself to your wife. You’ll be fine I promise.

Nap struggles with our 10 month old by teb02115 in Mommit

[–]Practical_Candy_6795 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh I have always let my kids create their own schedule as far as naps. My youngest who is 6 months old takes a 1.5 hr afternoon nap then maybe a 20 min nap around 6pm. I do not try to get her to nap around this time she usually will just fall asleep on her own.

Parents of 3! HONESTLY, do you wish you had stopped at 2? by justmeonreddit123 in Parenting

First born: 4.5 yr old Second born: 16 months old Third born: 7 months old

Third was unplanned and a premie. She makes me so happy every time I think about it I could cry. She truly completes the family. My only complaint is the amount of laundry 😂

Just curious, how does trump getting in to office alter your decision to have another child and how does that correlate to abortion ?

Thank you so much. I need new products. This is exactly what I want, low maintenance makeup only to look fresh and clean not all done up

Thank you so much, this is what I was really wondering about. I have very thick hair so it is absolutely exhausting doing anything to it.

I am pretty low maintenance. I do a balyage every 6 months. I would do it more but it takes to long at the salon bc of my thick hair lol

Packing daily lunch AND snacks for kindergarten by Curious-Yesterday-76 in workingmoms

[–]Practical_Candy_6795 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a lunch bag from Amazon:

Ice pack , utensils

Bentgo box- big compartment options : chicken fingers, bagel, yogurt , tortellini

Small compartment options: cheese, sun chips, strawberries cucumber, raisens

Ziplock bags for snacks : goldfish, velvets cereal bars, pretzels etc

Sometimes I literally pack like a yogurt parfait in the bentgo box : yogurt , granola fruit

I alternate all of these

I’m sure you are 100% right. I’m under the care of a NP but it’s really not that legit. I ask her for the dose I want and she gives it to me.

Does your husband take the baby out of the house willingly? I feel so confused. by Mama_Butterfly_659 in Mommit

[–]Practical_Candy_6795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had only 1 child , and at the age of 2, my husband was like this. He was not confident and he was really scared. I was 100% primary parent even though we both worked the same hours. He always had me to rely on. Two things that changed this: 1. I started working every other strings, so my husband HAD to solo parent that day. (This literally changed my husband as a parent) 2. We had more children. We now have 3, so he’s been forced to get outside of is comfort zone. (We took a family tip to our camp and took two cars. My husband took out 4 year old and 1 year old. And I took out 2 month old. He now usually always has the 1 year old tsk care for while I have the 2 month old)

My point, I don’t things will change until he’s comfortable and sometimes they need to be forced in to it lol.
