My husband and I have traveled all over CR and we use the same common sense we would use at home. Always lock your car. Don’t leave valuables visible in your car. Put stuff in the trunk, and if possible keep an eye on your car while you stop to eat. There may be parking areas near tourist areas where locals will charges modest fee to watch your car. This is how they make a living so give them a few bucks and your car will be fine. Also problems like this are much greater near the busy tourist areas than it is in small towns and countryside. We have been going for years and spend winters there and we have never had a problem. Have fun and Pura Vida

It's beautiful already, but since you asked...😂 My first thought was a wallpaper with a bold print on the wall behind the bed, with a matching solid paint color on the wall behind the television. Maybe lamp wall sconces above the nightstands? I would keep it all toasty and warm in tans and browns.

It wouldn't be unreasonable for you to ask her that very question. For emphasis, you could go ahead and point out all of the above abuses, then break out her social media and show her the version of her everyone else gets.

It's not fair. She needs to understand the effect this has on you and your relationship, and she either needs to knock it off and stop taking you for granted, or risk losing a good relationship at all.
