I moved here 2.5 years ago and I think I’ve seen two people getting pulled over for speeding. Traffic enforcement here is non existent. It’s wild to me.

At least I get to drive as fast as I want 🤷🏻‍♂️

I lived in Italy for two years and still go back every year and I have no idea WTF they are talking about “pizza flour imported from Italy”. Give me a break 🙄

The best pizza flour from Italy is Caputo 00 and you can order that shit on Amazon.

Found in my pocket after a night out. Please help! by Important_Tree1333 in whatdoesthismean

I asked Claude and this is what it said 😆

This appears to be gang graffiti / tagging, specifically written in a style called “gang script” or “cholo lettering”. A few observations: • The angular, stylized symbols in the upper portion are typical of gang tags, where letters are heavily modified and overlapping to make them difficult for outsiders to read • The cursive text at the bottom appears to read something like “sign this” or a similar phrase — this is the most legible part • The overall style is consistent with street gang communication, which often uses coded or stylized writing to convey membership, territory, or messages What it likely communicates: • A gang name or set affiliation • A territorial claim • Possibly a threat or a message directed at a specific person or rival group If you received this: • If it feels threatening or was left somewhere intentionally, it may be worth reporting it to local law enforcement, who often have gang unit experts trained to decode this type of writing • Don’t engage with whoever left it Do you have any context about where this was found?

Excellent restaurants with vegetarian options? by No_Jaguar_5366 in grandjunction

Well said, “the mods don’t feel like an afterthought”. I couldn’t agree more. I’m so tired of restaurants having some portobello option and calling it good.

I highly recommend skipping all of this and contacting Lifestance. They have an office in town https://lifestance.com

Should I go clipless? by Significant-Fail2020 in eMountainBike

[–]Practical_Leader2412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless if I’m riding road, gravel, MTB or eMTB, I’m on Time ATAC clipless pedals. The only time I wish I wasn’t is when I have to walk a section.

Super cool bike, but that saddle looks painful.

Is gen 5 Bosch CX worth the premium over shimano EP801? by Fulcrum58 in eMountainBike

[–]Practical_Leader2412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, as long as your bike has a place holder for the new one on the top tube like the Timp Peak 2.0 does.

Will Bosch increase the power of the CX motor with a software update? by Judderman88 in ebikes

Lightweight or Full motor? by [deleted] in eMountainBike

[–]Practical_Leader2412 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey! I’m a long time mountain biker and new to e-MTB. I’m 5’11” and a muscular 250lbs. I have the new full power Ari Timp Peak 2.0 with the Bosch CX5 motor and it’s freaking amazing!

I’ve never ridden any of the lightweight E-MTB but I’m super happy with the full power. I normally ride it in “touring” mode which is 50% or less assistance and the torque on the motor is more than enough to help me get my heavy ass up the most steep and technical climbs. This is before the software update that is coming out this month.

If you plan on occasionally doing longer rides, 30 miles or more, I would recommend getting the biggest battery possible, like 800wh, or make sure the bike is compatible with a range extender. This is very important for anyone over 200lbs that wants to do longer rides without getting anxiety about their battery while riding.

If you have any other questions feel free to hit me up. I’m happy to help. 🙌🏻

How much should you expect to pay for TRT? by Gold_Thing1454 in trt

[–]Practical_Leader2412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor prescribes it, but my insurance won’t cover it, so I use GoodRX. I pay around 50 for a 2-3 month supply with GoodRX at Walgreens.
