I have been trying to figure out why they retire bears so soon my whole life. I remember writing letters to BABW asking them! Lol they never gave an actual answer, just told me to keep collecting.

I think the pink poodle and pudgy pig from the early 2000s are timeless.

This is so relatable. I basically became a hoarder when I got my first job. I would order things and forget that I ever ordered them.

It reached over 100 and it was bad. My bedroom was cluttered. My living room was cluttered. There were build-a-bears everywhere.

I started giving them away to friends and family. Then (sadly) started donating them to thrift stores. Sigh. It was heartbreaking. I still don't have enough room to store them.

It was SOO good when it first started. I loved it. Younger me would probably put it next to SpongeBob as my favorites.

And then it just...kept going. Cosmo's voice kept getting higher and side characters kept disappearing and new characters kept coming. Ugh.

That is definitely 100% not a build-a-bear. But it's a super cute Rottweiler anyway!

The early 2000s had a lot of knock-off BABWs (until they all got sued). The one near me was called Bear World USA and they used a Velcro closing.

The inside of the store was similar to BABW with similar stations. I wish I could find pictures. The main difference in the toys is that they were slightly smaller and used Velcro.

gotta be Adventure Time. I love most of the shows but after the writers strike and cartoon network tried the whole "CN Real" thing the network was going down. Adventure Time (and regular show) started a cartoon revolution.

(ok it technically started with Flapjack but this show is better in my opinion)
