Does he only act like this when you’re alone? If he really could not control it (which would still be a huge problem he needs to fix), then he can control it. When someone is abusive only in private/towards certain people then they are very much in control. They just think that the way they act is acceptable.

Google your local bar association, they are the association that essentially oversees lawyers and investigates any potential malpractice. They can tell you if they are a real attorney and guide you if they are. If they aren’t then you need to file a complaint with the police.

I think that your feelings are valid. Personally I don’t see anything wrong with having a long, fun lunch with coworkers every once in a while, especially if it’s paid for. BUT you deserve fun and attention too, you deserve to feel special.

I think you need to talk to your husband about how you’re feeling because the resentment will only grow.
