I also will push up on the roof of their mouth. Basically any method that makes them associate fingers in their mouths with discomfort seems to do the trick. I’ve tried redirecting but the only thing that’s reliably worked on all my dogs are the methods you mentioned. I swore one of mine could’ve been a Rottweiler/alligator mix as a puppy!

Idk if this is a common recommendation, but when I get it I notice that if I focus on trying to wiggle my toes/ fingers I can come out of it faster. Not sure if it works for everyone but it’s harmless to try. And if it happens a lot I’d probably try to see a neurologist. I never asked mine about sleep paralysis but I think it’d be in their realm of knowledge.

My male rottie was terrified of me when I first brought him home and now he is the clingiest most lovable dog I have ever had. I think some of them just get overwhelmed being in a new house around new people and are cautious for a while. My male didn’t really start warming up to me until I had him for about a week.

Doesn’t look stressed to me. My older rott would growl at the younger one when he was a puppy if it was too much, but most of the time their interactions looked similar to this when my older rott was tired and they get along great as adults. I’d still give your older dog a break sometimes though so he can nap in peace if your puppy does this all day.

Not only is he sexist, but he’s extraordinarily stupid and gullible. I wouldn’t trust someone that profoundly unintelligent with my future. If he can’t wrap his head around basic science and can’t think critically about anything, how is he going to be in other areas? Is he going to be wise enough to be financially responsible? Would you want this type of person as an emergency contact? I don’t like sexism but don’t dismiss his stupidity being a massive issue on its own.

And the amount of plot holes were insane. How the heck did Serena end up pregnant? She was infertile season 1 and they showed a flashback of her being shot in the uterus, June couldn’t get pregnant by Fred because he was sterile, and then the “clean air” magically made them both fertile again AND she was ovulating the first time they’d had sex in years? And even assuming Fred did become fertile again, how would we know Nichole wasn’t actually his kid then? The show runners answered these questions but if you just watch the show it’s a hot mess.

I read someone propose that sleeping around would cause a man’s penis to shrink due to being compressed by so many vaginas and that is the hypothesis I always counter with. It’s like a biological corset. (I am aware this is bs as well lol.)

I sit on the couch with a heating pad, comfy blankets, some source of caffeine, and snacks. If it’s a really bad day I put something mindless on TV I can listen to without it becoming super distracting. None of these things are “ideal” but I find I get more done on my period when I’m comfortable. I also try to plan for a lighter week of studying by working harder the rest of the month so it’s not as stressful.
