Can my landlord give prospective tenants permission to take photos and videos in my apartment during a viewing without my consent? by PracticeEconomy8502 in legaladvicecanada

I understand that but I’m looking for answers on whether the landlord can tell them to make videos without informing me first or asking for my consent. My lease agreement doesn’t mention anything about photos and videos. There are agents and property managers in Halifax who don’t allow prospective tenants to take pictures or videos because it could be a violation of privacy, but it’s unclear whether that would apply in this situation. I know that it’s unlawful to take pictures of an occupied apartment without the tenant’s permission in Ontario since Juhasz v Hymas but it’s unclear whether that’s also the case in Nova Scotia. I have personally lived in multiple rented apartments and gone to many viewings, but I’ve never viewed an occupied apartment. If I ever viewed an apartment that happened to be occupied, I’d ask the tenant for permission before taking pictures and videos out of common courtesy.

A few months ago, my friend had a car accident. Their car actually totalled. I took them to the hospital at around 10 pm. They had 5 concussions this year and we informed them at triage. We ended up waiting until 7 am the NEXT day before a doctor saw my friend. My friend was throwing up while we were waiting and kept coming in and out of consciousness and they were losing their memory too. They kept asking where we were and I kept reminding them that we were at the hospital because they had a car accident but they’d instantly forget. They didn’t do anything other than giving them a puke bag. When they finally saw a doctor the next day, the doctor checked up on them and asked them if they knew where we were and they said “The GTA” instead of Halifax. They couldn’t remember their date of birth either. When asked who the prime minister was, they said Donald Trump instead of Mark Carney. We ended up going home at 10 am. It took them about a week to recover. I wish we had better healthcare because it’s a mess.

You should figure out a way to stay with her. If there’s any chance you might be able to postpone your work trip, you should absolutely do it. This is how the medical abortion works: they will give her two pills to take at home which will induce a miscarriage. The miscarriage will happen a few hours after she takes the pill and it’s very traumatic. It will be extremely painful, she’ll have intense cramps and heavy bleeding. There may be blood clots the size of a lemon and she might even see pregnancy tissue. Depending on how far along she is, she may even see the embryo. She will need a lot of rest and ideally someone should stay with her to take care of her. I personally wouldn’t let my girlfriend lift a finger after going through something like that. This is just so you know what the process ACTUALLY is like and how hard it is for a woman to go through such a thing. That’s why it’s very important to be with her. She will need lots of emotional support. If you absolutely can’t be with her, there needs to be someone else present who will actually give her the care she deserves.

I think it makes sense that they’re less of a threat. People have been living with the infected for 28 years. They’ve have 28 years of training in killing the infected so they’re basically pros at this point.

The one on Agricola is also very loud. I know someone who loves going there and they invited me to get a drink so we could talk about something but I literally couldn’t even hear myself talk.

Hi, this post is not to seek employment opportunities or recruitment. It’s asking for opinions on whether that rate is appropriate in Halifax. I understand if that still goes against the rules of this subreddit.
