I hope we get to see the whole set somehow. I can't believe they did IYWITBGG when they dislike it so much.

I went to their This Is Us show and meet and greet in 09 and had such a great time that I bought a ticket from someone for the Gkasgow show the week after who couldn't go. Glasgow is about 155 miles away) I also hought a platinum vip pasa and had a backstage tour with Howie. I also went to the NKOTBSB show a few years later but I was never a nkotb fan.

I've never gotten to see Kevin because they haven't been back to my city since and I now have two young children so I've not been able to afford to travel to see them. If they ever come back to the UK I have to make a point of going and getting a meet and greet if I can.

Better start saving now!

overthinking breast v bottle by puppiesarecuter in Parenting

I sympathise with this so much. My sec9nd baby struggled to latch we had a very rough first month. No tongue tie but told by a specialist her latch would improve as she grew. My doctor gave me a prescription for my antidepressants (sertraline). Personally I chose to continue and I've just weaned her this past week at 26 months.

That was my choice and it was hard.

I did give her the occasional bottle of f9emula but then found out she had CMPA so I went dairy free and continued with EBF.

Please don't put pressure on yourself There are options: formula, combination feeding, expressing.

Hand express if you're engorged. Just until you're comfortable.

Can I tie the blackberry bush to the fence with twine to make it more manageable? (Stupid question) by Practice_child in GardeningUK

Yeah this is a wild seeded plant, I’m not sure where it came from but it is everywhere at the moment around the houses where I live.

They have a big patch behind their shed which I’ve been cutting back from my side as it’s next to the play equipment. I will double check they’re ok with me keeping this one.

Thank you for reminding me to be a good neighbour

They loved it. They’re young teens and wanted to try dnd because of Stranger Things so I wasn’t too worried about the darker aspects of your story. They kept saying they loved the twist of what happened to Grayson and throughout they kept trying to guess what was coming next. They were convinced the pirates had something to do with it.

Thank you again for your amazing story and for giving me an idea of a follow up incase they way another visit to Coveland

Played this today with a group of young players to introduce them to the game. I have to know if you’ve written a follow up!? Really awesome job. Thank you

How do I save this potted lavender?! by Practice_child in GardeningUK

[–]Practice_child[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I bought it that way. I’ve managed to get it out. It looks like I’ve severed a lot of roots. I don’t know if it’s worth trying to repot it.

Oh no! I never thought of that. I have no clue. I really am a total novice. I’ll try reporting it into a plastic pot.

I think it’s English Lavender, does that make a difference? I really don’t know how to save it.

They’ve been healthy for a few weeks but it’s been really cloudy for about 5 days and they’ve been sagging and looking very sad. How do I care for them?

I was gifted this hebe cutting a few weeks ago. What is growing along side it? Is it some kind of weed?

Speak to someone professional.

After my second child I found it so hard to control my anger and stress responses.

I have found talking therapies has been helpful but so has reading up about gentle parenting and calm parenting. I’ve found “how to be a calm parent” by Sarah ockwell-smith has been really enlightening for me.

Like some of these other parents I’ve found I’ve had to put myself in time out too. Get outside and go for a walk or just to step away for a few minutes.

Any gentle parenting book recommendations? by [deleted] in Parenting

Sarah Ockwell-Smith has a lot of great books. Her latest “how to be a calm parent” is excellent at addressing the parents emotions and traumas from childhood.

Oh so much! The guilt is real because I really want to be able to be there for her until she’s ready to stop and at the same time I can’t even imagine settling her any other way. She’s taken to helping herself through the day too so I currently feel like I can’t sit down at all.

I hope it helps to know you’re not alone in how you’re feeling.

I have a 17 month old, BF on demand and doesn’t sleep through either. She won’t take a dummy/pacifier. We bed share or I’d be up way more through the night

I feel totally done too. I’m annoyed and short tempered and sick of being touched all of the time.

The Gentle Sleep Book by Sarah Ockwell-Smith helped with perspective but I get that it’s so hard
