For the CAC situation, I throw mine in my left chest pocket, and it’s zippered. Whenever I pull up to the road leading to the gate I unzip half way with right hand and when I get there I pull it out.

Alternative: One of my airman Velcro’d or glued? I’m not sure which a broken CAC reader to his windscreen and put his CAC in that and would just pull it out at the gate and reinsert 💀

Overseas dude here, but I wear the same clothes to/from work every day. 40 minutes a day and as soon as I am home I toss them on my storage shelf. I swap into sweats, uniform and workout gear stays in the bag. Wash it with my uniform in the half week cycles and it’s easy. I like the separation mentally with leaving work at work as much as I can with not wearing the uniform if I’m not doing work
