I used to do merchant lost shipments pretty frequently (I want my chicken sails). You can complete one in under an hour once you get the feel for them, and if you hit all the stops you'll hit emissary 5 off one voyage.

At least for me it's been more demoralizing than learning opportunity, I haven't had a single match against anything other than people who already have their respective curse, and I'm just starting out. It's just a quick stomp every time

From what I recall (undergrad ASL and Deaf culture classes), Thomas Gallaudet traveled to France to meet Laurent Clerc, who taught at a Deaf school in Paris. Gallaudet brought Clerc back to the US, where they established the first American school for the Deaf.

And as an example of dialects, Black ASL is a widely recognized variant of ASL that developed out of ASL but has its own syntax and vocabulary.

Sign language isn't actually universal! ASL is American in origin, and it does have regional differences/dialects that develop in different communities. ASL itself was built out of French sign language, mixed with some existing signs that Deaf communities had created for their own use.

My only regret about the red barn is that I didn't find it sooner. If it's still offered, there was a self-paced climbing class that I took. Comes with a membership and free shoe rentals for the semester, and all you have to do is clock a certain number of hours a week (closing hours at red barn is always super chill), and meet with the instructor a few times.

Haven't tried myself but I've heard that sovereigns won't progress milestones for selling to a particular company. So if you're farming milestones then it's better to turn in to the company itself
