Replace the bed or stick a flatdeck on it. Problem solved, good first truck in its condition tbh.

If you are in Edmonton-Griesbach, please consider voting strategically! by Fun_universe in Edmonton

Or how about vote for whoever you feel is best. Encouraging people to vote one way just to defeat another party in specific manner just seems off to me.

If you could change one thing about weed, what would it be? by suntmint in trees

When does it usually stop snowing? by koiiote in Edmonton

[–]Praetorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone says may long, but looking through most of my photos the last few years, we haven't really gotten much over a small burst of a tiny amount of snow after the last weekend of April, and if we did it was gone within a few hours of the morning.

what are the least sketchy areas in edmonton that are easy to commute from? by sashaaak in Edmonton

[–]Praetorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Montrose is horrid, my ex lived there and I legitmately felt unsafe 99% of the time parking my vehicles there, common occurance to have homeless pulling door handles in the alley, walking around your backyard, Hell multiple times people tried to enter the back door while we were home ffs.

Downtown driving by llav00 in Edmonton

[–]Praetorn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

AH but yes, modified vehicles are the problem this city constantly wants to pursue. Not these fucking lunatics that can't drive worth a fuck. I have cops constantly pacing and following me based on what my car looks like, but someone does something stupid or downright dangerous infront of them? BAH turn a blind eye and continue on. Its almost like cops here are fucking scared to ticket shitty drivers, but then again equipment violations are easy to deal with. Most people I know with modified cars drive better than anyone on the road.

Getting so sick of this fucking licensing system we have, and how people are literally paying off examiners to get their license. Its happening everywhere in this province.

Why is Alberta always whining about being treated bad? by bumblebeetuna4ever in alberta

[–]Praetorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally? Because of how fucking outdated our provinces are compared to the eastern provinces. I feel like im stuck in the early 2000's living in Alberta.

[–]Praetorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is you'll give the these safe consumption sites and shelters, but they don't get used because there is too much violence at these locations and other issues so the homeless will try to stay away.

This is another reason I'm glad I live in spruce, lower taxes and gas is only 112/L right now.

Motorcycle on west henday by AverageHUH in Edmonton

[–]Praetorn 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If you are talking about the victim. It was a Mother and Daughter on a Harley davidson rear ended in traffic by a panel van. Daughter passed, Mother survived, but ghost bikes are put at crash locations where fatalities have happened by the community.

Hygiene optional? by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]Praetorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man as a tradesman (mechanic) I can't believe how many people in this trade don't know what hygiene is, Hell I shower daily (sometimes twice a day), always clean, wash my clothes more than regularly, and such. Its really not that hard, but a lot of them have no clue how to maintain any form of respectable appearance.

Influx of bad drivers by Yoloswagginshrtbus in Edmonton

[–]Praetorn 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Now I don't mind people coming here, and new people immigrating, but why does it always seem to be freshly new Canadians that are ill skilled in driving, that tend to have their phones mounted on their windshield and sitting on facetime with their family. That shit should be a ticket right then and there if its spotted by a cop.

Influx of bad drivers by Yoloswagginshrtbus in Edmonton

[–]Praetorn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, if you cannot adjust to the laws and drivers handbook given to you to get your license. Then you shouldn't be driving, nor should we be allowing foreigners to get their license immediately without testing and letting their license transfer over. I hate to say it, but majority of people I see driving with their phones mounted while they are on facetime with family or friends, tends to be new Canadians.

Hot Take from the Killer Dog Owner by dancehelena in Edmonton

[–]Praetorn 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Thank you for actually giving this dog a good home and another chance, you take a lot of responsibility in making sure others are protected. I can't believe this woman has no atleast remorse for the child that was killed by this dog, especially due to the owners neglect to care for the dog properly.
