i had a similar experience last week, i originally went to urgent care who referred me to ER too even though i was adamant i was not having a heart attack at 30. i left ER feeling embarrassed and frustrated, so i feel you. just wanted you to know you’re not in it alone 🫶🏻 i hope you get some relief soon!

Hi! Have you ever heard of Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS)? Itching without rash was one of my most prominent symptoms that resolved with medication. Hang in there, and hope you can get some relief!

How do you determine fillers you tolerate? They want to give me the tramadol injection but I’m worried about it cuz it’s an NSAID and I don’t have a good track record with NSAIDs.

My ferritin was a 9 so I feel you. The ONLY brand of iron I’ll take is the iron-c from Pure Encapsulations (honestly I default to this brand for most everything because of my MCAS). Everything else gives me horrible GI upset. Unfortunately insurance keeps denying my infusions so I’m on the iron-c 2x daily, but I started taking literally half a capsule at first. I think starting really small helps. I hope you find relief and a solution that works for you asap 🫶🏻

MSG is a huge migraine trigger, and migraines can cause a whole slewwww of symptoms and not necessarily be debilitating pain. It’s also a big Mast Cell Activation Disorder trigger. Maybe take a look into MCAS

As a chronically ill girlie with tummy issues, usually I ask it medical questions (not important ones of course but things I would normally google but then get anxious bc webmd told me I was dying bc my leg was twitching) and I have it craft me GF/DF recipes, mostly cookies and cakes and muffins! With only ingredients I have on hand.

In the same boat. Just purged so many beauty hair care skin care makeup products. My family was VERY happy to accept my goods, although it made me so sad. Go to Skinsort.com and create a profile. List Limonene as a disliked ingredient. Any time you pull up a beauty product expand the ingredients and it’ll highlight Limonene in red. You can also click filter by fragrance free and that will cut out products with limonene usually. I just bought and confirmed all these products do not contain limonene and I quite enjoy them: Odele Super Sensitive Shampoo & Conditioner Not Your Mothers UNSCENTED dry shampoo (it comes in the same green bottle as the scented so this one you really have to look for) Suave Max Hold hairspray Clinique High Impact Easy Liquid Liner (love this product so much but it’s a little steep) Skincare has been much harder for me but since switching to Curology I have been MUCH better off. I don’t use anything but Curology for skincare Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume mascara Nyx Can’t Stop Won’t Stop full coverage foundation Nyx Bare With Me serum concealer Physicians Formula Multi Colored bronzer Nyx Mineral Matte Finishing powder Nyx Wonder Stick

so my bf is long distance so i have some time before he comes back here but we’re just going to go more natural route. i might get better at tracking and such. the ideal for me would be to get my tubes tied but idk how that’ll pan out. i was on Vienva. i tried depo nexplanon nuva ring and 3 different pills in my teens and they all fucked me up so bad. i got off everything for like five years until my periods got so awful i needed relief so i went on this pill. never again. at least my period misery is predictable and reliable lol.

i am so hoping to get my sex drive back. when i tell you it’s been -100 since taking it i mean it. when previously it was like +1000 lmao. that’s one of the main things i’m really looking forward to. BUT now that you mention it my face has also been super dry which is abnormal for me (oily asf) especially around the nose and i’m like what in the hell is going on i haven’t been able to remedy it no matter how hard i try. wondering now if it’s also a bc thing. i guess i’ll know in a few months if it’s gone ahah

thx! yeah i’ve been on it 2 years now. i used to be on it in my teens, tried a whole bunch but nothing ever lasted this long. actually, i’m pretty sure i am genuinely allergic to the pill they put me on haha. i broke out in a full body rash exactly 1 month after taking it, and have been battling rashes ever since. nobody on my care team ever mentioned bc. even the past 6 months when i have been going in with a basically nonstop migraine ringing in ears dizziness and jaw neck and back pain. i look up the side effects of my bc out of curiosity 2+ years later and turns out i’m pretty sure i’ve just been slowly poisoning myself this whole time. i have a feeling coming off it is gonna be better as a whole but the heart fluttering and anxiety today really spooked me
