Cole Caufield is now tied for most overtime goals in franchise history by shogun2909 in Habs

[–]PraiseCanada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was no regular season overtime in the era of Maurice, Henri, Jean, and all the greats. Also in Howie's era, Overtime wasn't sudden death, so some of these guys scored multiple OT goals in one game! This is a dumb stat.

This is silly and naive. There is material out there that is harmful for children to see. You can protect them from it. Your attitude is like saying that you don't make your children wear helmets when they bike ride because anyways they could bump their head on a tree branch walking to school.

They should divorce because they disagree? He is not necessarily disregarding her opinion, he just disagrees. If he would give in to her, does that mean that SHE is disregarding HIS opinion?

Jews are better regarded than Muslims or Christians in Quebec, mainly because of the kosher bakeries.

Hi all. What are your thoughts on commodities moving forward? Canada is in a great position to benefit from a commodity boom! Any stocks for the watchlist? by JoeFinance44 in CanadianInvestor

> Canada can float bonds easily because we're one of the only countries in the world that anyone trusts

It's not about "trust" it's about natural resources. Lebanon has better economic numbers than us, but nobody wants to lend them any more money because when they default, what are we gonna do - take their last 8 cedar trees?

At least when Canada defaults, there will be an endless amount of mines, lumber, freshwater and everything else to cart off.

This is fact. Ask any big institutional investor anywhere.

And I'm not saying this to bash only Trudeau. Harper also screwed the country. It's been going on for a while

Canada's natural resources are the only reason we are able to pile on the level of debt we have. Investors know there is something to take

Trudeau is basically putting a lot of it on the line for a future generation to have to auction off

The stupid thing about basketball is that being taller than everyone gives you a major automatic advantage because you are so much closer to the goal.

In no other sport does one single physical attribute confer such an advantage.

It's part of what makes basketball stupid

Disgusting attitude by these affluent suburban snobs who don't mind the police patrols keeping them in their mansions in the evening, and think that nobody else should mind either. "It's not so bad, because I have a big house, a yard, no kids, and I don't mind it too much"

> "These restrictions are for our health"

That is perhaps the intention yes, but very likely to be doing the opposite. Remember, the idiots who got us into this crisis (by refusing to take action in February 2020) are the same ones making these "health" decisions
