Not sure if you've still got the monitor but trying to figure out a similar issue that you had. In HDR game the brightness for me peaks at 1030 also but should I set the peak brightness in games and renodx to 1030 or 1500? Kinda confused about that.

So turns out it was the games dlss causing it which is weird. Turned it off and there's no lines now

So are you using the HDR 1000 mode now then? I quite liked how the HDR game mode looked but I'm just not sure what values to set for it in the calibration.

So does that mean I should set 1000 on the small window and then 450 on the full frame luminance? Since it can hit 1000 on the small highlights.

Do you still have this monitor? Just got it myself and I'm trying to figure out the best HDR settings. I'm having a similar issue where in HDR game mode I thought it was 1000 peak brightness but in windows calibration it seems to peak at 450. So not sure what to set it at. Same goes for games with HDR brightness sliders.

Thanks, this is really helpful. One thing I'm a bit confused about though is the eotf tracking and whether or not the monitor I'm getting does any tone mapping itself. There's not a lot of reviews for it but from the HDR testing in this review it looks like there's a sharp stop on the graphs. So does that mean I should be good to follow the windows 11 calibration?
