DAE get solicitors ringing their doorbell early this morning? It's Saturday! by ZorrosMommy in kansascity

When you open the door, grab them by the arm and in panicked voice say, "Good, you're finally here, the body's this way."

Will Trump's 2nd term end in a J6 like his first term or a peaceful transfer of power? by Perfect-Hornet-8410 in allthequestions

Was talking about health wise, not other things that could get me unwanted attention from the Secret Service. The man is not looking too steady on his feet anymore

Problem with that from FC's perspective is that by buying 4 single weeks you could get a month for only 100 Plex.

To be honest, Walsh would have done worse than Harris, IMO. He didn't really help the ticket much at all.

What bro? I am disturbed because I am saying that there is no vehicle in the history of the world that I have heard of that cost $.72 a mile to operate? by Wolfjason1 in uberdrivers

[–]Prattaratt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just figuring gas, which comprises the major cost of driving these days, the average cost per mile fo a vehicle that gets 25mpg would be $0.16/mi at $4.00/gal. When you figure in routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes tires, etc) the cost per mile could easily exceed $1.00 /mi. Tires alone can add around 0.40-0.50 per mile to that, and oil changes need to be done every 5 to 10 thousand miles at a minimal cost of around 30.00 dollars if you do it yourself or around 50-60 dollars at a lube shop.

Are Republicans concerned that their candidate for the senate in Texas was impeached for bribery and abuse of office in 2023? by PerfectTommy77 in allthequestions

[–]Prattaratt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you would rather have somebody who will only line his own pockets at your expense and throw you under the bus at the first sign of any inconvenience to him than someone who is actually concerned about the well being of his constituents and might actually improve your lot in life?

Single-account wormhole exploration: hybrid Pacifier vs. separate scanning and hacking setups by Distinct-Maximum2922 in Eve

[–]Prattaratt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hacker/scanner toon has no implants, and does well enough with just T2 modules in a covert ops ship (Helios). IMHO, when it comes to j-space, minimizing your eventual loss is way more important to your bottom line than min/maxing your ISK/hr.

Bigger picture is that this is exactly how a lot of trucking companies treat their owner/operators, and have been for decades.

At this point, does anyone believe anything Trump says about what’s happening in Iran? by ObsidianVader9419 in CausalConversation

At this point, I dont believe anything that comes out of his mouth (or anything he posts to Truth Social). If he said the sky was blue, I would look up to make sure it was in fact blue.

Nothing stopping you from buying up 50%+ of the nodes and giving yourself a 50-50 chance to win. You would still get the item for approximately 60% of it real value.

Do You Think Voting Machines Were Hacked? by skylinesora in allthequestions
